While I'm hoping for a cool Collector's Ed., I hope it's not as insane as the GTAIV one (which is cool and all, but gonna cost a hella lot!)

Slightly out of topic, but does anyone know how to get the MGS4 E3'06 15-min WMV trailer to play on the PS3? I have it but for some reason the PS3 won't recognize the audio and therefore I only get picture but no sound...

S'cool man. Didn't mean to sound abrasive. I have other WMV files that play fine. Just not this MGS one...and The Dark Knight trailer either...

Back to MGS: I just finished MGS3 just to get myself hyped, and man, I cannot WAIT for MGS4 now...

Better/Closer looks at the new 'Steel' MGS4 PS3:

Getting reports here that the Ltd Ed. Steel colored PS3 is a 40gb model. ..which is totally not worth it IMHO.

I actually just started and finished MGS3 Subsistence a couple of weeks ago. I held out against playing it for a long while because I was intimidated by the lack of Soliton Radar. But once my brother urged me to get over it, man, what a ride!! Best MGS entry yet IMHO.

Now I'm eagerly anticipating my MGS Collection to arrive and get through the first two again...

Re-watching the MGS4 Gameplay demo, I noticed the sniper-rifle Old Snake uses is a Mosin Nagant.

Given the fact that MGS4 takes place in 2014, I don't see why he'd use a WWII-60's era rifle unless...



Just speculating. It could very well mean nothing and just be a nod to all the fans. I'm very hyped up about this game, as you can probably tell...

While it looks great, I'm actually thinking now about how big it's actually gonna be. If it's too big then it may be a bit embarrassing/ugly to walk around with one on...
