David83: I'll be paying the installment from now onwards of the owner's hire purchase with the bank while the vehicle is still registered under his/her name.
What the owner has paid for the 3months installment/DP/Tint would be MY discount for the "new" MyVI

Makes sense?

Well... Technically speaking no price has been confirmed... We'll juz continue to pay the installment for the MyVi...

We've done the same thing for another car of this friend b4... So if u do the calc, basically every penny less the 3months installment and Downpayment and less the tint that the owner has installed on the MyVI
*
oh... so nice. then ur friends must be very trustworthy.

others people wont simply do like this.

In the internal combustion engine application, the timing belt connects the crankshaft to the camshaft(s) which in turn controls the opening and closing of the engine's valves.

every parts that involved wear and tear issues for sure need to change, just that metal made longer lasting that rubber made... maybe it may last for 200k km but depend on luck...

i think 200k km quite ok la... but if used 15-20years, for sure that time needed to change car...

handling?..quite good for standard car...standard myvi with bridgestone my01 195/50/r15...no screeching on the tyre...

screeching tyres?!
wth?!...wat u doing lar?...dragging ar... rclxub.gif
even hard acceleration n driving not supose to have tyre slip unless its on gravel or u r using those cheapo hard compound thailand tyres with v little grip shocking.gif

the myvi is top heavy
drifting cars r usually the low types
i would advise against drifting with a myvi
the risk of loosing control is much greater
(not to mention its a front wheel drive car...if u loose control, regaining control by using the engine is harder to achieve than with a rwd) unsure.gif

Shouldn't drive that fast at jalan kampung. Dangerous if some kids or cows cross the road suddenly.
*
ya...certain places if u hit a chicken n u stop, the ppl there will gang up on u n force u to pay some rediculous sum like 500bucks or sumthing
if hit a kid or a cow,...for your own safety, better u dont even stop
drive to the nearest police station n make a report there

steel belt?
u mean timing chain izit?
if timing chain, no need to change
u drive 30 years until the car fall apart oso will still be ok wan

still advised to transfer ownership
its not expensive and neither is it much of a hassle
if u go there personally, same day can get it done
no matter how close a friend is, these kind of things shouldnt be left to chance
for things like this, blood is the only thing one can trust nod.gif

just my two cents innocent.gif
