Does it include rebonding? And are you satisfied with your hair style that time?

Hi,

I'm finally back in this thread boys ! =)

I've read the past post and it seems like most of you guys are talking bout Monsoon ID.Well Monsoon ID WAS my regular salon. But nowadays,im really into japanese haircuts and hairstyle. So if you guys are into japanese haircuts and hairstyle, then i suggest you go to INFINITY in One Utama.Currently INFINITY is my regular salon.

And about rebonding , my opinion is if you think you're gonna stick to that hairstyle for a while then go for rebonding. But if you think you're gonna chnage you hairtyle once in a while then i suggest you get yourself a straightening iron.If you're gonna do japanese hairstyles then i suggest you get yourself a straightening iron.

NOW , BELOW ARE MY OPINION ON THE FOLLOWING SALONS :

Monsoon ID : great prices , good results

Infinity: excellent results ( their hairstylists are young ) If you want a japanese hairstyle or maybe something creative then go to Infinity.

Peek-A-Boo(TTDI):results are quite satisfactory. But it's not really one of my favs

Sense Studio(damansara utama):great service , but their style doesnt suit me.

Thomas And Guys(Bukit Bintang): quite reasonable price ( got frens there ) results are satisfactory.

And thats pretty much the salons that you'd wanna try

To leelc99,

You see, everyone has their own preferences. That's why I suggested that you visit them personally. Both Infinity and Monsoon ID are in 1U; so a trip to 1U will certainly be beneficial to you, serving as a eye-opener to you. Showing you what each salon is capable of doing..

All the best k, make sure you report your results here laugh.gif

I went to Infinity in 1U. The hair stylist didn't cut my hair the way I wanted. =/

Seriously disappointed..

And also, I asked for hair straightening, she did hair rebonding for me. And it costed a lot.

I was actually thinking of spending RM150+. The bill came out to be RM250..

Package include: Hair cut (senior) + hair treatment + hair rebonding.

Ps, I don't think I'm going to 1U to cut hair again. SAD!

Cheer up dude icon_rolleyes.gif

Sigh, what's suitable for a person might not work for you.

Maybe it'll turn out nice when your hair grow longer?

On a side note, didn't you ask for the total price before proceeding with their treatment and service?
Did you try checking out Monsoon ID for similar service?

Does anyone know what is the name of this hairstyle? Currently I'm keeping my front and back long, and still in the process to make it grow. By the time it's long, I'll iron or rebond my hair. I got a picture of sample:

Nevermind, I'll just go with my current hair style. Will post up my picture when I wax up my hair and do some style..

dude

i forgot to tell you , don't go for the woman stylist , when your're in Infinity always go for the guys

the female's there just dun have the skills ... i experienced it once too.

Mine turned ou pretty bad too , but after i kept my hair longer (shoulder length ) , i went there and they did REALLY gud job

so i advise you to go there only once your hair is pretty long , maybe around shoulder length like me

Added on March 8, 2008, 9:28 pmoh and by the way ,

if you ever go to Monsoon ID , I really recommend you to try a stylist called Ching Wong. She's also the leading stylist at Monsoon.

To Mike3300,
I suggest you to bring the pic along. A picture speaks a thousand words, so yea; bring the picture icon_rolleyes.gif

To leelc99,
No worries k, maybe it'll turn out as you wanted when it gets longer. Like what Mikkiz said, you were unfortunate to have the female stylist. So one bad apple there doesn't mean they are all rotten k laugh.gif Do not give up on them!!
However, I do understand the devastating feeling you're feeling. I mean growing hair (especially for guys) is not an easy process. Our hair takes quite long to grow unsure.gif

and thank you Mikkiz for the useful info icon_rolleyes.gif

My hair is around 20cm.

Is hair straightener really good? I heard it dries up your hair and thus damaging it.

Therefore, do it in saloon is the best solution?

Yah, my hair was serious damage. Got curl here and there, if hair dry it'll look sucks..

Er, back hair is around shoulder length, side part is slightly around neck length (a bit more then reach neck), front part can cover my eyes ady. I left my hair uncut for more than 5 months, so I guess it's pretty long..

Use shampoo and conditioner always.

Btw, I saw an ad nearby my place's saloon.

Rebonding:

RM80-short length hair
RM100-medium length hair
RM120-long hair

I'm in the medium list, thinking of trying. tongue.gif
