N81 is using 8GB internal flash memory (Like pendrive/memory card) while N91 8GB is using hard disk (like computer HD). So, no problem at all tis N81 8GB...
Not same like N91..Last time my brother's N91 4GB HD always corrupted, need to format it.

Wat is ur firmware version now?? press *#0000* and c.
Upgrade firmware very easy nia...Download tis Nokia Software Updater thn u can update/upgrade ur firmware by using tis software already.
Btw, ur hp is AP or ori 1? dun forget to check ur product code...if its apac region thn got chinese lo else u need to change the product code to apac region 1 by using NSS. check back the previous post..we did discussed bout tis thgs.

So far i am quite satisfied v my N81 8GB...no problem at all and my cousin's AP N81 2GB also ok after using it for 2 mths, no problem or bugs also.

The differences of AP and ORI are:

Original Set
- Nokia authorized distributors are Zitron, Avaxx and i-Mobile.
- u can service your phone at any service centres (Nokia Professional Centre)
- 1 year warranty for the full set including charger, battery, handsfree.
- genuine parts are used for repairing.

AP Set
- Approval Products
- mainly imported from oversea and sell it to the consumers.
- AP set warranty by companies such as Final Choice, CSL, Nefion, Telstra, GTMax...etc
- 1 year warranty for the phone and 1 month for the accessories like charger, battery, handsfree.
- u must bring your phone back to the place u bought the phone for servicing.

So good wo, uncle free for u. Oic...thn i assume u get ur phone today la. The Navi wheel navigation is only usable in the multimedia menu, music player, and photo gallery. Juz like ipod lo...Scroll the navi wheel...try n c. hehe! Btw, u need to ON it. (Setting-General-Navi wheel-on or off).

If N81 compare v N73, sure is N81 win. N81's stereo speaker is so powerful with tiny whiny bass. They are far louder than N93, N95 n N82 also.

Ya, is ...better than sony walkman ar? not sure la...but can fight with them lo.

Easy to spoil or blur? dunno yet la..juz use 1 month nia. Btw, if always listen to music loudly (volume to max)..wat speaker also will spoil la..Altec lansing or sonic gear spearker also will spoil.

For H.264/263 and RealVideo 8/9/10 format...pls refer RealVideo.

Read avi thn u need to use 3rd party software edi...i use smart movie..Convert from wmv, rm, rmvb to avi file.
N81 can read rm file..but u need to resize it so tat N81 can support n read it. if u didn't resize it thn it might gives sound but no video...

If u think 2GB card is not enough for u to store ur mp3, video, photo n etc...thn get the 8GB version lo.
Btw, the memory card 1 u can upgrade to 4GB (max) i think...
The differences between both versions r color and the memory only...others, all the same!!!

Btw, some AP co now like CSL also got provide 15/18 months warranty for fully covered ur transceiver and 12 months for LCD & camera.
Juz be careful whn buying AP set..check all the accessories...some of them take out the ORI accessories n put in the fake accessories.

Since the Ori price now is around RM21**...thn urs maybe around RM1700 to RM1900 max lo.

This phone will be great for those who spend a lot of time in listening music and also want to play games on their phone. I would recommend it to everyone...the money is worth it but some of them will compare it with N82 - 5 megapixels with xenon flash + GPS. So, still depends on ur preference lo... As for me, i like slider hp n design of my Nokia N81 8GB...very sleek and stylish looks.
