Can anyone explain to me? started paying my loan last month according to 3% interest rates. But now dunno how much to pay according to 1% unterest rate. icon_question.gif

Dont complain, you got spoon feeded by them.

Repaying back is your job either they charging you or not, it's your duty to pay though.

Current E-Fes issue will be fixed within 3 days. I experienced same thing, it was fixed without me having to call anyone. No need kancheong lah.

Btw PTPTN is having a 1% promo if you settle off your loan. I can save RM1200 by paying off RM15k before Dec 2011. Wonder if it's a smart move or not..hmm

Added on November 17, 2011, 3:16 pmIt's 1% flat per year pro-rated based on June 2008 balance (not reducing). Call PTPTN for more info wink.gif

i had the same experience to use FPX with Hong Leong Bank.
The transaction shown no successful but deducted from my HL Bank account.

On the spot i emailed HLB with all the screen shot, after 3 weeks their reply was still "under investigation" until i wrote another email and CC to BNM.
they managed to resolve the problem in 3 days after the second email.

on the subject of ptptn, my friends and i were having a meal the other day and they shared their experiences with me,
guess what.......one already graduated like 4 years ago and til now havent paid a single cent! He did get some warning letter and stuff and he still did nothing about it.....furthermore, he just came back from a trip overseas last week and was not blacklisted!

Then my 2 other friends added that they have yet to make any payment as well since they graduated like 3 years and 2 1/2 years ago respectively. I asked them why they have yet to pay a single cent since they're all working and have really stable jobs. They also say that they do not have any financial burdens or commitments. Plus, they also received some letters like warning and final warning and reminders and stuff...

Do you think PTPTN is too lenient?

Maybe they are bz chasing the more than ten years graduated havent paid a cent category I guess...

I think its not bcoz of leniency, its the mentality of thinking of paying PTPTn is a burden eventhough its only less than 100rm/month...I dont get it student nowadays, ignoring your commitment after graduated, it will get tougher if you have a family in the future...if you borrow from bank for sure will be blacklisted straight away
