My aim is to pay of RM5,000 by the end of next year with my fresh graduate salary.

Some people said that the money keep put in FD can rolling back but I think that is just impossible.

I am being charge around RM100 for administration cost for each month. Put money in FD also don't have this returns might as well just pay up.

the current FD rates are low. Better pay more to reduce the PTPTN amount. When the FD rates are high, deposit more to FD and pay the exact amount to PTPTN. In that way, you will earn the spread even it's not much...

that's how all loans work. Interest builds up...and will continue to build until you pay finish.

anyway does anyone pay their PTPTN loan through the ptptn.gov website - E-FES? Its been down for a number of days...can't pay this month's installment.

I read from the PTPTN website.

We are entitled for a rebate if we could finish up paying the loan before the time allocated.

Anybody could confirm on this? hmm.gif

It's not rebate. It is you paying less interest to PTPTN.

Why so mah fan? I got first class and the loan was converted to scholarships. I borrowed the max amount: RM82,500. You know what? Then, I moved to work in Singapore coz I don't have any obligation to repay the money. PTPTN scholarship has no bond, so you are free to leave the country smile.gif good eh? much better than any other scholarships.

For those who are studying and taking PTPTN loan, you know what to do. Follow my foot steps and you'll earn big money while studying and working smile.gif

Not everybody as smart or as lucky as you. By the way, most people here have already completed their studies. Nothing can be done to change the grades of their results.

but problem is, the PTPTN can blacklist on the CTOS as well as the immigration department(kastam). from there, you won't be able to go overseas, apply for loans and etc..

The amount to be paid in the agreement is included the interest. If u wanna settle ur loan earlier, then u need contact them to calculate for u. Most probably is minus out the admin fee (interest).

Anyway, if anyone wanna check whether their name being black listed from custom or not, can check from here :

http://eform.ptptn.gov.my:8080/blacklist/login.cfm

Anyway, if black listed, I think you won't be able to renew or apply for passport until u settle with PTPTN.
