with PL you have to pay higher.Min interest rate for PL is about 5% (bank Rakyat) but PTPTN you only pay 3%.Furthermore, it was on reducing balance.when it reduce to 1% only it is on fixed rate. So,think twice before getting PL to settle PTPTN.You will incurred more debt than you currently owed.

Do we need to call them or PTPTN will automatically update the latest offer letter to us?

Did anyone successfully get the latest agreement letter of adjusting interest rate to 1%?

Wondering are they going to update the interest rate to all or they will delay till forever.

what I feel is they are not going to do as they announced. It sounds like after 12+ months of waiting, nobody has received their agreement letter reducing the rate to 1%. They call it 'stages', but what kind of stages takes so long to switch? Its just so unbelievable.

we should get help from the press, gossip papers or not. I figure that's the best action. Even if PTPTN won't reduce the interest, we'll most likely get some form of explanation in their reply.

For new applicant, their offer letter is stated as 1% interest; as far as I know for old applicant, majority (>90%) still remain as 3% interest. cry.gif
