I am seriously considering to buy this phone after CNY 2008. Just three simple questions.
1. How big of a MicroSD card capacity can it take? I know it comes with 2GB but what if I want more? Or is 2GB enough if I were to follow the recommended softwares on the first post?

2. Any new issues found with the N82?

3. AP set, anyone affected by weird problem - meaning those in the Original set has not reported / affected?

I was using the initial gmapsuppMXT file. But that is June map, which is not updated. So I tried 2.15 and had all the abbreviation issues. The Honda map has got no abbreviation problems, but the map is not detailed and missing lots of POIs.

I wonder if the 2.15 has got a MXT supported format.

seems like the black is going to be more expensive? I saw the review on N82 at GSMArena.com and it says the available colors are silver and black. Is black in the Malaysia market yet or not yet?

go get it...i have been using it for 2 months now and i m very satisfied with its performance...
regarding your question about the capacity of micro sd,i m now using 4gb sdhc micro sd,and to be honest with u,only when u refresh your music player and opening your gallery pictures,it will take few seconds longer bcos ur phone needs a little more time to detect your songs and pics..other than that,other apps works fast and smooth,no hang or freezing nonsenses..my set is also an ap set,n no prob so far...

2.15 got MXT supported format...Need to contribute to get it...

i tried many times , taking out the battery and restart...stil cannot....i just updated the newest firmware 11.0.117..since update the phone become weird..hangs often until last night...black out..

Right now, in the Malaysia market, is all the N82 only in silver color? From GSMArena.com review, I saw the photo of the black color unit already but on the other news, it said that it is coming soon.

how about the battery life??
let say record the video for 1 hour,than how much battery is left??

there is an option to choose .wmv or .3gp to record video?

take out yuor memory card and try restarting it again.maybe some of your applications cause it to malfunction

Now the best to get N82 original with the cheapest price is thru. Maxis (RM1688) but only the package is worth for you.
I got my on Tuesday and been updated to new V11.0.117. Everything is rock solid.

Will it worthy if buying black n82?

Frankly speaking I am using a N70 black color housing for 2 years and I have seen enough black. Silver is a welcome change for myself. Besides, the black N82 is only coming with 128MB MicroSD and it's more pricey. It's also not in any official Nokia website but only that in the US.

I think I will go with the Maxis offer as posted by chtan, I hope the offer is still open!

Of course. Its original Zitron warranty comes with 2G micro sd and all accessories.

Where got for whole world? Later dunno la but now it's only declared for US.
