I have asked around my friend earn only around 2k but bank automatic upgrade his card to gold.. so I am thinking will they also auto upgrade to platinum after you  have gold.

buy 1 free 1 not for all ticket ?
*
Your thinking is not correct.....

Annual income for Gold card : RM48,000 per annum
Annual income for Platinum card : RM100,000 per annum

Not many people have RM100k per annum...else Platinum card won't be EXCLUSIVE lah.

Why they lower the entry level for Gold card is to ensure they have more customers owe them money smile.gif

I still dunno why people like plat card when they cannot afford to spend so much. I rather stick to gold card at the moment
*
totally agree....

One question I have on Platinum Card holders

Will Platinum cardholders enjoy same discount/rebate as Classic/Gold carholders + additional exclusive offers, right ?

how come ah? any ideas?

Cuz i just cleared my debt without seeing the statement, by checking the amount using the ATM machine.

Please advise...
*
Mid Feb = 15 Feb 2008...today is also mid March
So just wait or else you can call the CIMB customer care line to verify

I called again and asked for the reason behind the reject. They said that my card is new and less than a year. Crap!

I can increase my credit limit for my HSBC last time even though the card is new (roughly 6 to 9 months old).
*
Then just request for increase in credit limit after 1 year of usage. I think the banks need to see your spending habits before increasing your credit limit.
Higher credit limits may lead to higher debt..so be careful

I already have account at cimbclicks. Do I need to register a new account for credit card? Anyway to add the credit card into my existing account?
Yeah...I have the pin for credit card and internet.
*
You can link both the accounts into CIMBClicks.
Mine was added together since SBB days... Maybe you can call CIMBclicks to enquire

Anyone that know the new flexi payment plan by CIMB??? Cant find the info at their website. The plan is like this: they'll charge you a one time interest. after that, you dont need to pay any interest for your installment.
*
Similar to the previous Easy Payment Plan by direct Access

Just extra feature only, and limited edition card now if u apply fast.
Im going to change it since my company paying for the RM12 tongue.gif
what u mean?
why need renewal?
*
Please read the FAQ on the Maybank Visa Debit card.

"The new debit card is valid for a 7-year period and is issued free upon renewal"

Maybank should remove the limitation of 4 FREE withdrawals in a month for this Visa Debit Card
