How many Maybank TreatPoints to redeem a Petronas Cash Voucher ?

9000 points means need to spend RM1800 (5X Treatpoints) on Petronas petrol before 31 July 2008.

Before 31 July 2008
If using Maybank Petronas and spend RM1,800, we get RM50 cash voucher
If using CIMB Petronas and spend RM1,800, we get RM36 cash rebate [RM1800 x 2% = RM36]

After 31 July 2008,
If using Maybank Petronas and spend RM9,000, we get RM50 cash voucher (based on RM1 = 1 TreatPoints)
If using CIMB Petronas and spend RM9,000, we get RM180 cash rebate [RM9000 x 2% = RM180]

Does this mean Maybank offer better rebates in terms of petrol spending if before 31 July 2008 ?

Credit limit is based on annual income, right ?

Because Petronas Maybank Visa CC give TreatPoints, so we cannot collect RealReward points when using at Petronas

I had to call twice to get thru this morning... some more give me wrong points balance status.

if you pay in full on time everytime, the bank will not have problem increasing your credit limit.

The only time i really used my limit was when getting a LCD TV and furnitures for my new home.

Tip 6 and Tip 7 seem to be contradicting...

If you hold a platinum c/card with low annual income...what's the point ah ?

CIMB Direct Access requires RM80k annual gross income to get their Platinum cards. That's mean you need a basic salary of more than RM6,666.67 per month.

You will be charged interest once your payment is not received after the payment due date.

CIMB can use www.cimbclicks.com.my. You need the PIN to access your credit card at the ATM and generate a one-time use PIN to CIMBClicks.

Earning RM2.5k and hoping for platinum card ??? I don't think the bank will approve.
