Well, the agent is only the middleman to submit your application. The card centre is doing the processing.
even the bank staff also accept lol... and it's approved. haha

QUOTE(IMAX @ Feb 22 2008, 12:06 AM) is it secure if we apply credit card via their website? basically, when u mean apply online is like u filling the application form to apply CC. like UOB One card, if apply online they will give RM50 rebate right? but need to key in other bank's account number,.. so, overall, is it secure? subsequently u need to fax in o post to the bank to support ur bank. tht's based on my understanding. about secure o not, it's depend on whether u got confidence on the online application thing o not lol... no confidence, then dont use. |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Feb 22 2008, 09:19 AM) Reload touch n go using CC is only available at few places like Faber Tower, and not available at partner/selected merchant like Toll or Petronas. i managed to reload at the Duta Toll. QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 22 2008, 03:17 PM) Top up T&G using CC can only be done at toll or T&G office which has the terminal for the mean time. Other channels like Petronas, PUTRA and STAR will insist of cash term. i thinks only certain big toll plaza office will have TnG Reload CC facilities. |

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Feb 25 2008, 10:52 PM) I think most bank will auto convert into RM. But regarding the limit convert, not sure it can be done anymore my friend just done it few weeks ago for his citibank card. Added on February 25, 2008, 10:54 pm i think UOB platinum card, is not those platinum card we really think. Last time I heard that it offer one card, called platinum....not quite remember. most bank classic card is RM18k per annum. Gold card is quite subjective. Alliance bank require 48k per annum. If you wanna apply, can always pm me. |

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Feb 26 2008, 11:34 PM) UOB ONE is not platinum card. Just one type of credit card. If you did notice, there's one UOB Platinum card, which is the real platinum card. I don't think with RM5k/month, you can apply platinum card. Usually require about 10k/month, unless you put FD a lot. Then maybe can. agreed with u. UOB ONE Platinum is just a name of credit card lol... saja let u feel "syok" haha... |

I applied for ONE platinum dunno how much they will give me... anyone can share what is the average credit limit you guys have for normal citizen like me.. while among CC, CIMB Direct Access give the highest limits. while for like normal citizen like us, UOB will give combined limits of RM4k. |

QUOTE(siutimtim @ Feb 28 2008, 04:32 PM) today I called the UOB agent again to check my card status... I double confirmed with them and he said my card is Platinum card.. why some of you say One Platinum is not platinum card ??? sure they will convince the ONE Platinum is Platinum card lol... they just tell you half true lol... The agent said the annual fee for ONE platinum is the same as other UOB platinum too.. so confuse... dunno after they approve my ONE platinum, can I ask them to change to the other UOB platinum because they say both also same platinum.. should be okay right? p.s : anyone seen Alliance bank platinum card? It is very cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that is the most cool card I seen so far.. ONE Platinum = Platinum same annual fee as Platinum? i bet no 1 will be ever kena charged annual fees lol... as the card need only 6 or 12 swipe per year to entitle free annual fees lol... Preferable it's a Cash Rebate Credit card. All about cash rebate. |

QUOTE(Downcast @ Mar 3 2008, 12:53 AM) If u got lotsa credit card in hand, obvioulsy it will be easy for u to apply any bank u want, but if u r new, they will consider before giving u credit card, but normally if with annual fees is not worth it, but as i know, for UOB, u just need to do 6 transaction within 1 year, then ur annual fees will be waived... and UOB online not bad, can pay streamyx and maxis bill =) with rebate summore UOB Online can pay streamxy and maxis bill? how come? i can not find the way to pay it. it need saving account to pay the bills online. if only got CC, then can not pay any bills. i guess u got the UOB saving account and credit card together right? QUOTE(cwtong @ Mar 4 2008, 05:57 PM) i thinks u mean after the Due Date. not the statement date. |

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Mar 14 2008, 08:15 PM) Why you say so? then it's totally hopeless for me to waive the RM12 already... I did mine today. They say if go back to the branch where I opened account, can change from ATM card to debit card free of charge. But I not sure if this is true or not... So far I feel Maybank Visa Debit meets all my needs. So I no longer need to apply for Petronas CC. But there's 1 thing I need to check with you guys, this is what I got from their FAQ: Does it means everytime I use this Visa Debit to pump petrol, I will be charged RM150? Then they only reverse back the extra money to me after 3 holding days? Thanks. my account was opened in Penang... QUOTE(ronnie @ Mar 15 2008, 10:44 AM) as the post above mention, you wont get free. |
