hi, i got one problem and will be thankful if any can give me a hand on this...
i bought LCD tv samsung 4 series 32 inch and use it for ps3...
adjusting the brightness,contrast and sharpness 'manually' giving me a better picture, for me i would say, rather than using default, game, cinema or any default mode available....

the problem is, after 15 or 20 minute, the TV goes blank for 2-3 second and the setting(contrast,sharpness and so on) change back to default...it's was very2 irritating to set it back to the setting which i like,while playing a good part of the game....is this common? or something wrong with my TV...
there is no save function for my setting,so i cannot switch to my favorite setting using one single button..

Nope..If use the LCd monitor without HDMI(HDMI-DVI converter) u will only get 720p...Bu if u use the LCD monitor that has HDMI(like the ASUS) u will be getting 1080i..Correct me if im wrong

720p is BETTER than 1080i la 

24" lcd (1920 x 1280 resolution) will allow you to display in 1080p (FullHD)
Below that usually only 720p.

However human eye at x distance and y size may not be able see the difference.

Your LCD needs to have either HDMI port or DVI port with HDCP. Then you connect using a HDMI cable or DVI-HDMI cable depending on what your LCD supports...

wrong information la.. monitor resolution not same as tv one!! monitor 1920x1280 doesnt mean support fullhd la if the model is not fullhd.. but benq is coming out with fullhd monitor so maybe u guys wanna wait for that to be in malaysia

im using w2408h now for my ps3.. if u never experience any lcd or plasma with ps3 b4 and u want a proper size for your short distance.. u can just buy this w2408h (not full hd).. or u wanna wait for benq fullhd models (almost the same price i think)

2000 would definitely be enough for u to buy a fullhd 24inch monitor no worries. just wait and see how is benq working with it alrite? w2408h im using its really fine but remember its not a fullhd!! i think u better get one with fullhd

another tips.. i think rm2000 is enough for u to get a 32inch lcd with fullhd or not im not so sure..
