and Vista's BSOD is ALWAYS caused by drivers OR hardware, NOT the OS itself.

strange, i can't seem to install from dvd. it manages to boot from the dvd and copied the files to the hard disk. after the animated logo, the screen just turned blank and the hard disk just blinks every now and then.

i left it for a while also nothing. really want to try the beta but really i can't figure out why the installation won't work.

About GTA IV. Install, yes no problem (compatibility mode). Play, nope. RGSC was up though. When I hit PLAY, cursor turned to spinning SecuROM, black cmd window poped and straightaway terminated. No error, no nothing. Change the compatibility mode to various OS, still fail. Black cmd came up, and terminated instantly.

I'm using 64-bit 7.

Company of Heroes works liek charm. Installed and played. Tested working on 7.

Just to share. My copy of Devil May Cry 4 also Securom. But i managed to make an image with Alcohol 120%, and use this image in Daemon Tool Lite (with Securom emulation enabled)...voila, game can start without DVD in drive. thumbup.gif
