a source told me that Skynet is a very bad place to work.The top management are all nut case especially the CEO.coming out with nonsense idea which is not practical at all.many penalty and fines are involed.

i know its not related but just to share with u guys.dont ever join this company.

This is why I usually try to avoid Skynet, this is a common problem/excuse, I guess they are just gambling that nobody around since most of the time, many people are not at home during working hours.

Is skynet penang jelutong branch open on saturday? plan to go and collect my parcel there rather than waiting ^^. Does anyone know their operating time?

Read through this thread last night & got scared that I might suffer the same fate as most of you.

Fortunately, the item I bought yesterday arrived at my hometown (Gurun, Kedah) from KL in less than 24 hours after payment.

I would say it's a combination of great service on the seller's side as well as SkyNet's.

I believe only some SkyNet branches suck. Gurun Branch, from my personal experience, has been excellent so far.

Yup true. Just now I went to self-collect at the office since it's half day.
Afraid it might not get delivered on time, must wait for Monday pulak.
I guess branches that have to deal with so many documents/parcels e.g. KL, JB, Penang are usually the ones giving problems.

Waited until 4pm, started to call the shah alam branch since this is the only shah alam number in their webpage, gave me another number said (SMD) means sri muda branch, call and call and call, keep engaging finally get thru but nobody pick up the call, call shah alam branch again, gave me another number to call, still engaged, fed up, call their customer service at 4:45pm, said will ask the branch people to call me, wait for 15 minutes (5pm), nobody call, call them again, again said will ask the branch people to call, wait for another 15 minutes (5.15pm), still nobody call, called the third time, still the same, the branch people will call me. Finally, at 5.37pm, some malay girl called me, asked her where is my parcel, she said they will deliver it right now, i asked why, since it said out for delivery at 11.31am, then give me excuse lorry broken. wtf. scolded her why didn't call, she just keep changing subject, ask me when i leave my office. i asked them when can arrive, she said she'll call me back, but now 5.54pm, no sign of my parcel nor any phone call from them.

this is the 3rd time i encounter problem with skynet, maybe is this sri muda branch problem, i don't know, is not that i wanted to use them, it's i bought my stuff from all this seller, they like to use them, if can, please DON'T USE SKYNET.

other courier company like poslaju, nationwide, etc, they always delivered my stuff in the morning, only SKYNET cannot, last parcel i received from them is also in the evening, also after few complaints, i think if i don't complaint, i probably will received it the next day.

this courier company sucks big time.

if i want to post 2.5kg plush toy from ipoh to penang, any cheaper courier can recommand for me? around how much it cost? please PM me, tq alot~~

GD Express seems to be good according to some.

anyone knows wat time do they operate in terms of delivery? supplier sent on friday around 11am from johor and i heard it takes 2 days to deliver. it's already 8pm now and still nothing. the 2 comin days will be sunday and a public holiday so yea...

I didn't even hear any door bell nor vehicle noise at my house this whole morning i was sitting nearby the window to wait for the parcel patiently, and I WAS NOT AT HOME according to them?? damn!!!

It means maybe they are unable to locate your address. But then they should have call your number if it's attached there. Btw does that means they will re-deliver the item again to you?

Lol i just have this same problem with skynet saying no one is home while im whole day in. End up going to the office to collect it myself.

Added on May 13, 2011, 8:21 amI just sent something to penang using gdex yesterday, however the tracking no is not working as it always return 'no record found'. I must say the tracking works great for skynet, just that the delivery looks fishy.

For those of u whose item has broken during delivery by Skynet, does your seller refund/resend you the item or just ask you to wait for the claim from Skynet?

I'm from Sunway PJ and I've been worried about SKYNET courier after reading this thread. However, I've received my package this morning from JB and am quite satisfied with their service.

Only problem I had is that they didn't contact me beforehand when they made the delivery, so I ended up missing the delivery when they came to my house. Fortunately, they left their contact behind and I can choose to wait a reattempt delivery the next day (which they did) or head to their office for collection.

Guess I'm lucky that the branch here is competent at their job. I'm not trying to rival SKYNET or anything, just wanted to pass out the word that not all of their branches are bad, and even POS LAJU have their fair share of horror stories.

Perhaps Skynet customer service department should be informed about this thread

i live in melaka.before they sending your item.they will call u 1st.anyway i have no issue with their courier services in melaka.but i still prefer poslaje.no issue until nw!
