PA has just email me for credit card verification. They asked for scan copy of identifcation and credit card (front & back).
Is this normal for 1st time buyer.

me neither ... but I understand Hong Kong Merchants prefer you to use UOB and HSBC credit cards ... otherwise they may need your documents for verification

i use my Maybank Visa & mastercard... ok je... they never ask me to scan watever thing like that lor... weird.... better dont give la.. especially the security no at the back card.... ...

I believe they have encountered fraud cases from Malaysia here ... otherwise normally they won't do that ... this is business ... nothing personal ... unless you don't trust them ... then don't buy anything from them

are you using "Verified By Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode" ?

I already provided them.. But i alredi blankout the CCV number and only left the front and back 4 digits...(as it is ok with them) and someother important info..

Actually i m using the MONEYBOOKER.COM for this purchase and this is link to this visa. Not sure why they ask for the verification as Moneybooker alredi verified. Anyway, i read that if i use the credit card directly, the billing address has to match the mailing address. True? Mine is not, so i use moneybooker instead.

BTW, how do you sign up for "Verified By Visa" for citibank visa? the visa webpage doesnt list citibank malaysia when i want to sign up.

Just make my first purchase from Play-Asia.com and got a USD5 discount coupon. It is stated in the coupon that it can only be used with the minimum purchase of USD50. I'm planning to purchase another game from Play-Asia that costs USD49.90 only. Anyone knows if I can still use that coupon for this purchase?
