Malaysian customs (or govt officials if that matters) really suck. I guess just becoz he's from Singapore (and maybe the amount of tax is not that much after currency conversion) they're charging him the tax. Stupid.

I think every purchase is accompanied by a coupon. Because their price is already USD5 more than the normal price in the US. So when we use the coupon, we're actually paying the same price as Americans are paying at their shopping malls.
