QUOTE(siawyent @ May 30 2018, 09:02 PM) Sorry to ask a noob question: rm20 first reload. on general case, 3 working days to receive card. How long will we get the Bigpay card after registration? Need upfront fee or what is the minimum reload amount to register? the rm20 can be fully utilized later after activation. mbb fcb vs, yes got cb. kinda late to apply bigpay now and max fcb vs' 10% this month? QUOTE(sendohz @ Jun 1 2018, 10:33 AM) Thanks for the info. well, doesnt matter, as long as it works I re-check again in my AIA online portal, it is still showing CIMB as the bank issuer. i guess the bank name is required, probably due to legacy system requirements, or payment gateway's payment page design (e.g. cannot be left empty, so any value is accepted though no validation is performed). |

QUOTE(laymank @ Jun 1 2018, 11:00 AM) Yup! yah, probably as record purposes, just in case any error in transaction or userdispute or settlement dispute, etc.I just made AIA payment via its portal, Issuer Bank i put 'BIGPAY', there was no matching 'bank' name with that, but since it's a open text field, it accepts and transaction was successful. |

QUOTE(chonghe @ Jun 3 2018, 10:03 AM) Thanks for the info yes, but do it sparingly to avoid be flagged by bigpay of "suspicious activities"Just saw this also - "Domestic ATM withdrawals - RM6" So it means that in extreme cases of needing cash, one could top up BigPay card with cc (considered as purchase) and withdraw cash using BigPay card, avoiding cash advance charges and interest? |

QUOTE(chonghe @ Jun 3 2018, 10:41 AM) This is wow. generally, i guess so. i am one of them.So I presume all "gou shou" here basically top up BigPay monthly using cc and just use BigPay to spend? cc with cashback are mostly limited to certain spending categories. reloading to bigpay, you can spend almost everywhere else, without restrictions from the main cashback cc. e.g. pbb quantum/vs (earn 5%/6% Online cb) --> bigpay --> other spendings (e.g. dental, car service, maintenance fee, etc) |

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Jun 6 2018, 02:44 PM) so far i see in this thread, AIA bill can be paid via AIA online portal. just give it a try over-the-counter.anyone try to pay AIA bill at counter with bigpay card before? (coz i am planning to pay for others, so can't login to AIA online) bigpay, generally acceptable. on rare occasion it doesnt. most of us keep trying at many places. myself have tried with at dental clinic, was a relief when it went thru for bigpay |

QUOTE(digitalcode @ Jun 7 2018, 10:04 AM) I read through the introduction until this page here and the statement that you get 10% due to BigPay 'literally' is not that literal... in fact BigPay itself does not give any rebate at all, it's the other cashback credit card that provide this when you reload or topup money into the BigPay prepaid card. if u read the wordings, "up to 10%*" with an asterisk Also, the 10% is not something we can get every month, or at all unless we have a very specific card..? Is this understanding correct? probably could put a disclaimer upfront at the top so that ppl don't get confused reading it |

since bigpay is a prepaid card, does Balance Transfer work?
assuming i've been swiping large payment with bigpay (of course already preloaded earlier), then trigger BT to PBB 0% 6mth? pbb bt doesnt need statement anyway. essentially pbb transfer fund into bigpay, but split to 6 installments at pbb card. |

QUOTE(TaiSong @ Jun 9 2018, 03:54 AM) My card has been suspended. no choice.Reason given is my activities are suspicious (I withdraw the unused amount that I top up in order to maximize cc cash back and BT purposes). Total withdraw amount so far is less than 60k in 2 months time. Explained the same to their RISK MANAGEMENT officer. No use. The officer said my activities trigger the alert, and she did not mention what is the withdrawal threshold. And she said I have to proof that I am not doing money laundering. So guys, good luck and make sure you don't churn so much and kena like me . Money laundering my ashes. ewallet providers must put in risk mgmt, detection and mitigation processes. it's part of BMM's requirements (aml/cft) when they audit each app before being approved for public usage. problem is we don't know the exact criteria as each provider has different set. they are also not transparent to publish it out (not required to publish, just need to put in place internally) for your suspension, what can you do now? terminate it so u can retrieve the balance? perhaps provide all your cc statements bearing your names for all your bigpay reloads, also BT payments. |

QUOTE(Hanz91 @ Jun 11 2018, 03:49 PM) If I reload RM2500 into BigPay using MBB Barcelona card to get the 2% CB every month and withdraw out the RM2500 every month, do you guys think there will be any problems? that's the ideal wish.frequent of withdrawal might flag bigpay of your suspicious activities. card get suspended, need to proof yourself that your actions/behavior is legit. |
