My car already passed 10k KM. I don't want to send it to my previous PESB at jalan 222 coz that place service sux till vomit. Told them to change simple stuff also they don't do. My gear shift to 5th gear kinda stuck, and they can say that it's normal. I send my car from 8am they only call to collect at 5PM. That long, and no good response on my complaints.
Bro here using manual gear, how's your gear shift? Got stuck2?
Got any recommendation for good place to service car? Any reliable PESB?

its ok if u over mileage, the SA dun mind much, but dun too over mile age, then u will get bebel by them

mine already 16k, n already done 3rd service...

after this, no more to SC, dun mind bout the warranty, coz im not modding my car too much, juz smooth cruising

I heard some of my friend say we must not rev it ? and what is break-in ?

check everything thoroughly b4 taking a car.. komplen kaw2 if u find sumthing unusual...

some say rev, some say dun rev.. ecu learn ur driving style, so if u rev kaw2, the ecu will notice u hav a heavy right foot so they will set it to match ur driving style...

break in is sumthing like to make ur engine components like piston blablabla ngam with ur engine, so u will hav optimum performance with ur car...

example like a shoe, first time u bought it, it feels uncomfortable right? so u use the shoe kaw2 like seret sana seret sini, pijak sana pijak sini, so the shoe will ngam with ur foot...

Just came back from Penang-Genting-Penang trip..

The auto tranny, shift to "2" and roll up the steep hill, the rpm just tick over 2k++,no power at all.
Kickdown manually to "L"...revv 5-6.5krpm all the way... But still lose to City VTEC although my rpm is in 5-6.5k region.

FC is pretty good for auto tranny Persona 100%highway run, 7.7L/100km..best FC record i had ever seen.

Have to service soon too. Thot of going to Jln 222, now think twice. How about glenmarie? Or any other in PJ?

< 500km, drive like usual.

> 500 till 1000km, rev the engine like a mad man! nothing to worry coz at 1000km you will send the car for the first service.. change to mineral oil.
then when the mileage approaches 5000km, drive like a mad man again.. this way you will remove all the sludge and metal deposits to the max before an oil change. after 10000km you can use any engine oil you like (semi or fully-syn). the engine will feel ligther coz you have break-in the proper way.

who says new car must drive slowly? heck, even in the manual says during the running-in period, the max speed you can go is 140km/h!

Wow nice information you give there ! I didnt know about change oil thingy .. Anyway , I'm auto-transmission lol..dont know can speed so high or not .. Previously driving kancil 660, rev like mad man only get 110km/h.

Hihi , I booked the car last week . The sales person is my neighbour and same hometown and very good friend with my parents lol . He said 3 week - 4 week can get the car already . Hope the car wont dissapoint me .

I remember one of our forumer suggest we do balancing once you got ur can ... after checking all other stuff of coz... coz some of us did report the type are not properly balance after a while when they just received the car...... true ke ???

I wonder how they get the car from the proton kilang to the branch ... hopefully the balancing issue is not due to delivery purposes.
