buy Caparison in U.S from a retail shop ?

dream on..finding original ESP also hard enough already ...Sam trash only carries LTD ...maybe 1-2 ESP if you are lucky..
and..sh1t...i hate to say this ..but i think Malaysia carries the most ESP around ..(compared with SG and U.S)....we can see at least 4-5 units in a GC outlet..

let alone Caparison..

buy online at ebay , Caparisons and ship to your hotel you might have a chance la .. smile.gif

anyway , if you dig strats/super strats ...try to get Brian Moore , Wayne Charvel , Tom Anderson , G & L , Suhr or Vigier
now those are something  you dont see here..thumbup.gif

Tom Andersons droptop classic is awesome XD

blacktrix, how much is that EMG and where can i get it?

as for the strings, it not only depends on your playing taste, but a same set of strings on diff guitars will be different. this is more obvious in acoustic but it also applies to electric.
*
+1

Regarding your acoustic pup right? Berapa budget?
and is it for your acoustic guitar or electric?

If its for your acoustic, most natural sounding ones I heard are from B-Bands and LR Baggs, but that one..... $$$$ T^T
Best is if you can both a mic and piezo system together, and mix them at the preamp, would give the best of both worlds.
Else, a piezo would do, mics feedback quite a bit so it can be annoying.
Some ppl think otherwise tho. If its to put on your Taylor, I suggest a soundhole pup, quite pain if wanna cut hole in the Taylor ya? =p

Be sure to set back a few hundred tho, acoustic pups don't come cheap, unless they have a funny brand name.

1.9k gila expensive la. so far planning a soundhole pickup as i dont want to harm my taylor. heard the dimarzios at JS is 300+.

i dont mind miking it, but take note that its live and i'm switching from electric to acoustic, so if i want to mic it i'll have to fig out a way to mount my acoustic on a permanent stand so itll be stationary (thinks of zack kim's way)

hmm maybe i should just borrow my friends 810 taylor.
*
Passives would be the best bet, no holes dug.

The 810 is a dreadnought right? As you already know, not that great for plucking, but unless you really want the pup for your Taylor, better save a few bucks and just lend the Taylor from your friend.

But then there's always the responsibility of borrowing gears =/.

I don't know much bout passive pups so can't help you there. I read up a little more first then i try to help

**oh this is gay...... I come home, and my cable is dead, 30+ bucks for a year =.= and my spare cable is noisy as hell

ok i have bout 100 myr for budget, looking for 20-30 feet, with minimal noise. Anything fits?
Dimarzio? Vox? Ibanez?
Let the suggestions loose!

Music123 does ship worldwide, depending on which brand...

Cables, I'm using Ernie Ball Ultraflex for my guitar -> pedal, and Planet Waves for pedal -> amp...
EB's are around RM40 I think... The PWs are around RM70...
Both bought in SG...
Never had any problems with them...
The EB cable held up for close to 4 years before crapping out on me... Got another one last year...
*
Any idea where to get EB in msia?

What time does the new bents close btw?

Woot!

Rossie i saw the EB cables but i didn't get them cuz they didn't have L-jacks =(

was really tempted tho

i got fender koil kords instead [cuz this have L jacks, didn't like ibanez cables at the same time which had L jacks]

was wondering if theres any known issues with coiled cables compared to modern cables

tone wise.... this were better than my previous cable, but it is quite a bit noisier (effects of its new found transparency?) , so i was wondering if you could suggest me some good and well priced patch cables, i run through 1 true bp pedal and 4 buffer pedals..... so might be the cause of the noise and my patch cables are those 30 bucks for 6

some advice anybody? thx =)

googled cant find what pickups he use on his les paul
*
Really? I got to know his LP was 1974 LP which he said was a 63 LP, first alpine whites were only produced in 74, according to the site.

anyway, it was fitted with stock 74 pickups from gibsons which should be the PAF pickups from Gibson

I took less than a minute in google to find this, it IS the first link. If you probably bothered to read properly, you'd already have found the answer.

its guitar collection as they bring in seagull, art&lutherie...both are under the same parent company, godin, as simon&patrick.

Funny how all of them are under Godin, but all of them produce like different level of guitars.
Was never too impressed by Seagull and Art$Lutherie, but dang, there are a few SnP which are really astonshing
They all sell at different price ranges?

Need to lower the dial on the Enhancement pedal™ else it'll blow the Chromatic Talent Gauge. Need to tune it nicely.
