Slimmest neck in your list, BFG, available with 60's neck
ZW uses 59 necks, so does customs You want the best tone from Gibson? Custom shop Gibsons are your best bet, along playability, because its tailored to your requests. |

QUOTE(headhunter7 @ May 26 2008, 11:46 PM) Weird, I dont see any extra room for the floyd. So its more for pushing down, no pulling up, or you'll scratch the finish lol. Weird, I think I do see a little routing =pAnd I dont see any backplate for the floyd? Bagaimanakah saya nak pasang taliii?? LP with FR rare, but i prefer without the FR =p |

QUOTE(gapnap @ May 28 2008, 10:52 AM) actually .. +1according to many guitar tech's point of view with the same amount of money you can get some exotic woods with boutique pickups and some real mother of pearl inlays Now I'm gonna run away from all the flaming arrows that will be aimed at me. Added on May 28, 2008, 1:55 pm QUOTE(blacktrix @ May 28 2008, 12:43 PM) Heck, even Zakk's guitars, although hung up, are still played. Slash's most famous LP, the one he used for the Appetite of Destruction, the clone made by Chris DerrigHis Grail Bullseye (the ORIGINAL bullseye mind you) was constantly used in touring, until it was lost and eventually found. Now, it's hung up in his bedroom, but he still plays it from time to time with Ozzy. THAT is a guitar that's worth hanging up, and even then, it's still played. It has history, meaning and of course, it's a well played instrument....... was played so much, till its neck snapped, twice. After two neck repairs, and countless pickup ring changes, it sits somewhere with all Slash's other guitars. Thats a guitar not even money can buy. jazz III ultex
retails 5.50 at bentley 3.80 at harmony uptown I really love this kid, so talented, this is a song written by himself with the help of Thomas Leeb (I'm assuming) He's using a custom made guitar to fit his body, and he makes the most of it. To a certain person, before you consider using up a lot of money, just look and learn, how much can one do with only a guitar. An instrument is made to be played, and the music to be shared, and before you can appreciate your instruments the way that they should be, I'd much suggest you give a good think, whether you are worthy of your "needs". Pay no heed to this, if you feel that its pointless, I have my doubts that it'll be of any use anyway. This post has been edited by sean392: May 30 2008, 03:35 PM |

no shi- man
i was like cool!! i need some spares!! how much ? "oh this one 5.50" me: "ooh!!"*walks to JS music, just to find that no more stock* got 2 more from harmony, so total i have 5, just enough, tho i'm still on my first one =p very durable, a lot grippier IMO than that of the regular jazz III, even when sweat covers your fingers, retains a good amount of grip. oh did i mention its really durable as well? =p |

Production numbers for 07 MIC models should have 5 digits.
eg, EE070901234 EE = Qing Dao factory, China; 07 = 2007, production year; 09 = September, production month; 01234 = Unit no. 1234, Production number (2007, may onwards should have 5 digits, not 4) Those who are looking for Epiphone Les Pauls, stay away the ground floor piano shop. Those are 100% fake epiphone pauls priced the same as a real one. (My speculation that is..) Tell tale signs, check the body thickness, it should be 2 inches, the bindings should be adequately thick around the body, bout half a centimeter, the cutaway tip should be rounded, not sharp check the serial number, if the first two numbers are anything before 04 [03,02,01,00,99 etc etc] the truss rod cover should say gibson, not anything else EE serials have a certain font, generally its quite small, go to authorized dealer shops to check it out thats so far what i've seen on the fakes, everdy care to point more?
