blacktrix : What sets TomDelonge/Wes Borland's guitar apart from the other semi-hollow guitars?

How is it such that their guitars are made for more distortion? Just wondering.. Syok wei semi-follow guitars sounding so brutal.

any recommended strings for acoustic?

Pickup configuration, Wood material and voicing.

But that doesn't mean they DON'T feedback alot too...... if you went to Wes Borland's clinic..... you can see how much it feedback too, but it was still acceptable.

For acoustic strings, try out Dunlop. It's about RM45 for a pack.

if i use my metalzone as main distortion n ds-1 as booster, how should them be arranged?

guitar-->wah-->ds-1-->mt2-->amp?

or

guitar-->wah-->mt-2-->ds-1-->amp?

Depends on which one you want to act as a booster, and which one you want to act as your main distortion...

Man, if the Prestige S is already 6k..... the Egen would be about 7k Plus!!!!!!!!!!
