jejari7, if you changed to a thicker string gauge, you should sent it to the luthier to get it properly setup again.
And wow...... 7th version on the 7th day.......... That's a brutal coincidence! |

I dunno about how you setup your guitar, but with the proper gauge and setup, My LP-100 had more sustain after I switched from Ernie Balls to ZW Boomers.

Damn. I just realized, If I get my JCM800, I'll need a Chorus pedal. Dunlop..... wow........ too damn expensive.
Maybe will have to settle for either Digitech Chorus Factory or Boss CE-5 |

Oh god, I can't stop drooling at the new Prestige S......
I swear, they made that light grain model JUST for Herman Li. You know what....... this year, I didn't get THAT much guitar gear. Just a new Whammy. The previous year was where I got my most gear. ZW LP AND an RR3 AND a tonelab SE...... Next year, the ceriatone JCM800 (It takes 4 weeks to build), hopefully a new Prophecy Explorer and that Prestige S!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It says on the spec sheet that it's HGD1 on the Neck, ST1 in the middle, the HGD2 on the Bridge.

The ZR is why the S is so popular actually.
It's a waaaaaaaay better trem then the Edge 3 IMHO. I think it's T-minus 7 months till I get my S Prestige. |

Well, maybe will get an Epiphone or Gibson from the states, and order the Prestige S through Bents or someone else from the forum (you know who I'm talking about)....... mainly because with the hard case that comes with the Prestige S, it's hard to bring it back on the flight. It's a good hardcase, but it's not flight worthy.
EDIT: Urgh. Make then a year...... It's going to cost roughly RM 5,500......... 180000 Yen Dollars.............. Die Die Die My Darling....... This post has been edited by blacktrix: Dec 9 2007, 12:19 AM |

Yup. Always lived in Bangsar leh......
And like Led Zep said....... trace the sound of Bad Pentatonics and JCM800. I suggest you wait for next year. Have a Prestige S and Epi Prophesy to "Acquire". And thanks for the Bentley tip. Will check 'em out once I get my JCM800. Wait.... that means it isn't THAT loud any more This post has been edited by blacktrix: Dec 9 2007, 10:35 PM |

Crap. Nik from Ceriatone says that there are no JCM800 to test at the moment, so will have to wait for one before I can go.

I'm checking out Bentley around 2 today. Bringing either my RR3 or LP to test out some amps before I make my final decision of the Ceritatone.

Um, what kind of music you looking to play?
I would suggest the Ibanez GSA60. It's an all rounder and sounds quite ok for the price. Either that or an SX. Best shops? Bentley for the guitars, CK Music for the amp (VOX FTW!)..... both having year end sales so it's a great time to buy it. |
