wow thats nice. may i ask what guitar is that and did u use the boss acoustic simulator for that sound? what mic is that?
*sorry for the geeky questions*
*
thanks ebp. i just used the presets in GearBox software for both the guitar and vox. IMHO, the sound of the boss acoustic simulator (in my case the one in GT-8) is better than that. i was too lazy to connect the GT-8 that time.

anyway, the name of the mic is Taming Sari by my-mic. our very own Malaysian brand (but iirc it is MIC). visit www.my-mic.com for details. and if u r interested, u can contact bassraptor in LYN aka Sujesh in jamtank. cheaper than the list price.

ok la.
the most obvious point would be diction.
but since i guess ur primary is not vocals, then not that important.

the paulas are saying wat? nice shorts? nice guitar? look cute in those shorts? tongue.gif

also again i guess since vocals not ur strength...in certain areas it falls flat...as well as certain vox phrasing lari alittle.

simon would prolly say...i've heard better karoake singers before tongue.gif

even tho the ibanez are made from mahogany...the thin bodies on them doesnt do much to bring out the character of the wood.

im waiting for this pickup to come out.

Until now, if a guitarist wanted both tones, either they would have to install both a humbucker and a P-90 in different positions in the same guitar; or they'd have to haul two guitars to the gig. Enter P-Rails(tm), Seymour Duncan's newest pickup. It's a full-size humbucker that splits to a full-size P-90; and P-Rails is available in both neck and bridge-calibrated positions.

In a guitar setup for two humbuckers, a pair of P-Rails will give even the greediest guitarist the best of both humbucker and P-90 worlds. A single two-way switch (push-pull or mini-toggle) allows the player to switch between both full-size humbucker and P-90 sounds.

But the greediest guitarists would not be content with merely two great and as-yet unachievable tones in the same guitar. No... the greediest guitarists would also want the unmistakable chime and "cluck" of the legendary Stratocaster(R) as well. For them, P-Rails delivers, thanks to its Alnico-powered rail pickup. A three-way switch (DPDT on-off-on) brings in the added dimension of an authentic-sounding vintage Strat(R). And, when both the neck and bridge rails are used together, the tone is reminiscent of the "2" and "4" sounds of a great Strat.
P-Rails is available individually or in a neck and bridge set. Other than the addition of the switch, no other modification is necessary to achieve a wide variety of classic guitar tones. Like all Seymour Duncan pickups, P-Rails is hand-built in our Santa Barbara workshop.

Hehehh yeah I was pointing out the typo actually .. "Mahognay" . laugh.gif

Everydying : Actually I think the thin Mahogany bodies S/SA are not that bad lah.. Although it wont sound as good like a true fat Les Paul mahogany body.. But it still has some of the characteristics. More depth than Basswood lah.. IMO only.. smile.gif It's still comfortable tho, the thin body of the S/SA.. Used to own an SA..

But it was too comfortable I got tired of it. laugh.gif

Hahahaa hows the SA dude?? Loving it? Any modifications yet? brows.gif

Yeah just change it like a normal fixed bridge..

But if u usually change strings by taking em all out at once, before you unwind the strings, place something behind, underneath the bridge , so the price won't lean back against your body when you take out the strings...

Unless, u change strings one by one, then .. No need to place anything behind the bridge la..

I've tried out so many Ibanez SA, I find them to be an amazing guitar for any range of music. I feel, that with the proper pickup configuration, it would bring out their full potential......

I'm so glad that the S series is getting a new makeover for the 08.

Hmm... Usually my worn out picks are picks that I have many of them, so I'll just throw them away. Unless those are picks that I don't have in my collections yet or picks that store special memories. smile.gif
