You can also try here, if you are nearby...

Lion Archery- Kepong
https://plus.google.com/1180346475255585124...out?gl=my&hl=en

They have an indoor shooting that opens half day on Saturday and closes on Sunday.
Weekdays open.

Just don't get "forced" to buy anything....when you are a newbie...just do more research.
Help is available in this forum as well....

Also , there is UFL..nearby Kepong as well...they are dealers for HOYT.
http://www.ufl.com.my/

I buy from a retired army Major in KL last time for arrows.
Not sure if he is still alive. 03- 4041 2208 , 012-213 2924 (Major Burhanuddin )

Then there is the Shah Alam shops...that i am not well verse with... I don't shoot outdoors and last time they don't carry compound equipments...mostly recurve.

Enjoy.

For me, killing animals for fun is not a pleasure. Especially with bow and arrows.
If you need meat, got to KFC.

Go to MSN Keramat on Sunday morning. Many people practice there. There is another place nearer to Subang which is near Shah Alam stadium, don't know if still have anyone doing archery over there.

No idea what is arrow stand. Maybe bow stand he means. If you are beginner and able to find a bow that suit your draw weight and draw length with good price, no harm to buy online. Usually people will upgrade their first bow in 6 months or one year time, if they still stay with Archery.

Actually that bow have the right length and weight for me.

They did not mention the total bow weight though so I assume is gonna be light.

Just confused when they label it as rest stand, I assume that you can bengkok the two metal rod thing and rest the arrow there.

Hell, is only rm 281 so a bit worry and then I think might as well pakai buang saja la.

Btw i started archery a year ago. Only on weekends and had to borrow my friend's. Just because SOMEONE would not allow a 'weapon' in the house and accidentaly 'murdered' their grandchildren. Now that i live alone wink.gif

Still trying to shoot staight and all arrows inside the small circle. The fire is still burning smile.gif

You can try Monster Chill at Melaka, but very unlikely.Must well order yourself from US, since bow are duty free items.

Yes, the arrow stand is probably referring to the arrow rest.
There are probably some reasons why such bows are sold in cheap prices...

Did not go to the site to read, so ...I am just assuming by the cost.

a) the limbs are not meant to shoot high poundage. It might just go 15-20#. Limbs that are not subjected to test, would only hurt you if they crack. Pray that it isn't some "wood".

b) the riser bodys are probably aluminium/stainless steel, heavy or light. It would be flimsy, and probably toyish.

c) Did not see the cams, so.. I have no idea how the bow strings are attached.
Probably doesn't even come with bow string...

If you are just looking to do commercial shooting, or some advertisement, ....sure.
I don't recommend even getting such an item.

1) Might hurt yourself
2) A body of metal, attached to some "wood", and screws and a sight that cost <$10. An arrow rest that cost $10-15...

Looking to profit $100 there...which leave you with an actual $100+ item that is just for decoration, than it 's purpose.

If you are looking to spend that amount....try getting a traditional bow instead, at least it shoots, and not harm yourself.
