its ok when i oc my 3870 till 880/2600 ,,play game all ok..but when i want to run gpu-z..it will restart my pc..why??maybe my gc not cool enough???not stable??or anything else??help me ..and mr sylverfire...41celcius??standard cooler u use or any other cooler??

Oops, sorry, its 49'C idle... But in cool environment can reach 40'C~41'C.

yup latest 0.1.8...as for ur temperature...try to check whether ur fan working properly or not...there's a bug...fan not werking properly...u need to flash the bios...or change the bios threshold to range 35'-40'...pls read few page back on this thread...irenic (Post#1-bios hotfix), rlhc17 (Post#18), mine (Post #772), Mr Tertop (Post #787), mine (Post #789)...hope it will help u...anyway bro can u run 3DMark06??? I also use Sapphire...urs is single slot or dual slot cooler...??

have prob to upload my 3dmark print screen..but already run it and the result is 7705 using my rig spec as below....already dowload the 1st and the 18 post..but how to use it???

upload it using others website like imageshack.us...ur score low maybe becoz ur proc bottleneck...
u need to flash ur gfx with it...bare in mind..flashing is at ur own risk...

My 2 MSI hd3870 in CF only get 13k++, while my single card 3dmark06 already 11k++, with all default and stock settings...
other hardwares are in my siggy... just want to know what's wrong with the low score... or is it normal?

I'm trying to get CCC to detect the second GC but it doesn't and it only detects one of the GC... wonder what's wrong with it... GPUz showing that i'm xfire enabled and CCC also xfier enabled... hmmmm?....

Your single card is a little low but nothing out of ordinary.Overclock your processor,3dmark is heavily base on processor .Try to increase to 3.4ghz,should be 13k or so with single card and 19k with dual card.

which version of catalyst driver u r using ?

i'm using dual slot card...already dwld all things in post that u mentioned but dunno how to use it (computer base ati bios edit)dunno how to find/open original BIOS image..aiyoo..i'm very noob ...i oc my gc all ok ..running at 850/2600..can play game all do all things with my pc....just wan to fix the temp and problem to open GPU-Z 0.1.8..when i open it,my pc will restart automatically even i already make my gc to default ...no problem with running 3dmark06...

i just wanna try sumthing to my gc..hope sum1 help me

Im not sure y u can't open run GPU-Z...for the bios editor...to used it is so simple...ur bios file should be ended with .bin...load it..change the threshold to 40'...save it...then used atiwinflash to flash ur card...again a reminder...flashing is at ur own risk...

it seem there is some issue for gpuz 0.1.8 for winxp
try this which just got fixed yesterday

owh..tq mr coolice..will try it..hope it will be ok...but sum1 plz help me for the ati winflash..

yup, that's why i'm still not satisfy with it... will try oc my proc to see it will improve the performance...
3dmark06 need hotfix ? cos some other forums say that hotfix will tend to bring up better results or flash the MB bios?
