im just wonder why there are no one using gigabyte 3870 especially the one with with zalman fan??it only cost RM680....or it is a bad oc card??

well i dun think the gigabyte card is bad oc card, coz so far i've seen most of 3870 has equal oc's ability..

maybe bcoz gigabyte is a latecomer?

wooohoooo!!there is still some hope for me....dfi is sending their mobo x48 to gecube to test the 3870 xt turbo x 3 tomorrow...
hope they found out what is the problem that cause this 2 combination doest work,finger cross..

i downloaded 8.2 CCC and display driver, still can't detect my 2nd card in CCC while xfire enabled... gpuz is enabled but CCC doesn't detect 2nd card...
anyway this is strange, so anyone has the same problem?

Try to enable overdrive. Once overdrive is unlocked, you can see the second card's details.

Btw, is getting 14000+ in 3dmark06 ok for HD3870 CF at stock system speed?

Okay, I tried downloading Rivatuner and played some games while monitoring it, and I find out my fan speed seems to be stuck at 81%, no matter the load.

I can manually set the fan speed in Rivatuner, but if I use auto, it automatically runs at 81%

Is this a problem? The fan's pretty noisy at a constant 81% speed.

err, 14k+ in 3dmark06 for CF is normal i guess cos i'm getting 14k as well...
the problem is due to the proc try OC it abit u will see better results...

Ok, weird problem here. Once i overclock my card, the CPU test 2 in 3d Mark06 will fail to load. All other tests can be rendered smoothly without artifact, except for this one (can't even load). Anybody has solution to this?
Btw, my clock speed for both cards: 850/2400

alright, after OC my CPU to 3.4 the 3dmark06 increase from 14k to this 17873.

proc is OC, so time for ur GC to OC as well.........

btw u can try to up ur PCI-e speed to 110, it will boost ur score more

ok my initial test...hmmm somehow the gecube work only in system so i pair it up with saphire and the card can be detected....ok here is my initial result..

and this my final result with rough oc...

wahh already tested that sapphire can go 890/1300...try it...the result should be higher

enough ler...no need very high...that should be ok coz initially i just wanna hit 17k mark...it should be allright running in my 27 inch lcd monitor..
