this is the best latest review that i could found...thx to sniper actually....focus on this 2 card; ASUS EAH3870 X2-1GB n AMD 3870 Crossfire......in 3dmark u can see the x2 slightly better than the xfire...but in game performance show the different although the conclusion recommended x2...the xfire do much better actually in HD....

err guys..got some prob...about the fan

on auto setting(monitor by GPU-z)...when the temp reach 80'....the fan should run at 70% of it speed rite....the prob is only the GPU-z said so...the fan at the gfx still running at lower speed...how to fix this...

i have to set manual 70%...cannot set auto...if not the temp will reach 90' on load...coz the fan still running at lower speed no matter what's the temp...not following the rate it suppose to be...

auto > idle 57-58 load 87-90 (CPU-z show the fan running at 85% but actually not...no noise at the fan n silent)
fix 70% > idle 43-45 load 63-65 (i can hear the noise of the fan running at high speed)

the card already flash by fix bios (10.071)...still same...is there any latest update bios??? I found 10.077..anyone test it??

sure... u know where to find me lor....yeah glad its fix...no need to use riva tuner to manually set fixed fan speed anymore....heheh anyway...how's the cf bridge???

idle mostly 41-45 for non-oc card (*fan working properly)...if oc it will be different
anyway how high ur single slot card can oc??

only by increasing core n memory of the card...other is default n no voltage mod...should pass 3dmark bench....mine can do 890/2600 but it will read 877/2592 only...score 11600+ proc limit...not so good...since irenic can do 891/2628...

yup latest 0.1.8...as for ur temperature...try to check whether ur fan working properly or not...there's a bug...fan not werking properly...u need to flash the bios...or change the bios threshold to range 35'-40'...pls read few page back on this thread...irenic (Post#1-bios hotfix), rlhc17 (Post#18), mine (Post #772), Mr Tertop (Post #787), mine (Post #789)...hope it will help u...anyway bro can u run 3DMark06??? I also use Sapphire...urs is single slot or dual slot cooler...??

upload it using others website like imageshack.us...ur score low maybe becoz ur proc bottleneck...
u need to flash ur gfx with it...bare in mind..flashing is at ur own risk...

Im not sure y u can't open run GPU-Z...for the bios editor...to used it is so simple...ur bios file should be ended with .bin...load it..change the threshold to 40'...save it...then used atiwinflash to flash ur card...again a reminder...flashing is at ur own risk...

u can save ur ori bios using GPU-Z...then mod the threshold using the bios editor...

on GPU-Z...thick the box..."continue refreshing this screen bla bla bla"...try to see go different or not...or monitor it using rivatuner...if same...
then try run atitool with 3d View...as the core temperature going up...see the fan going faster or not...vice-versa...close the 3D View...the core temperature going down...the fan speed decrease or not...(refer to Post #789)
