Shot in RAW? xD

yea man, shoot in RAW. Managed to bring back the details of the sky without compromising the details on the model too. ^^

@R a D ! c 4 L~nice dramatic background
@goldfries~yeah doing portrait without a grip is killer, planning to invest on a grip before other stuff smile.gif
*

thanks

QUOTE(goldfries @ Dec 13 2007, 08:57 PM)
hehe. doing portrait with a few shots without grip is still ok. doing 700 - 1000. it's like sheesh. look at how the wrist bends and holding the camera to focus and shoot.

do a little chimping. then shoot again. tongue.gif

anyway the grip also helps in making portrait shots better aligned.
*
Try, portrait shooting without grip and with a 580EX II and a heavy lens, that's double the sheesh. laugh.gif

yes its cool. The tone splitting tool in Litghroom does wonders. But the downside is its a lot of work, if you're not up to those time consuming post processing then don't touch RAW smile.gif

Wow, nice shot, the background and the lighting are very dramatic, I like it very much, but the model's pose seems like a bit odd, not too natural. Sorry, just my 2cents! icon_rolleyes.gif

thats true, because the battery that we use is what they call memory cell, they will tend to remember where si the full charge and minimal  charge, so it will reduced the length of the battery operation that why you need to use the battery until it is finished and recharge again to full and use it.
*
not 100% true..
the memory effect only affects Nickel based cell, and doesnt happen on Lithium based cell..
the AA battery u use in your flash is usually Ni-Mh or Ni-CD, and the battery u use for your camera body is usually Li-Ion.
for Li-Ion, it's best to always keep it at full, while for Ni based, it's best to let it run thru the full charging and discharging cycle.
that's what i remember, correct me if i'm wrong..

The cheapest will be 55-250 IS. I read in some forum that we can get it for RM860. Here some input at PM.
Click Me

There is even a comparison between EF-S 55-250 F4-5.6 IS & EF70-200 F4L IS at HERE . But it is in Chinese and I can't read/write/understand/speak chinese.
