Like i always said, im fast because im am luckier than the rest. Im luckier to have more practice time and the right tools at the right time. Some of us like Ryugan, Madnoren, Pitt and Dzariq....i believe even evohahn, will do as good as, if not better than me n u if given the equal chances.
I believe in equality and fight on an even ground basis. I said it was a good race last nite because i lost it to you fair and square, but not by much thus telling me i am at least competitive. To come close to ur pace, i had to do hundreds if not thousands of laps just to understand the car, the track and the setup n strategy. I still believe that i am at least 0.25s slower (average) per lap take any race this season. I am going to up my ante and prepare myself for the next F1 season.

My title is not possible without all the sacrifices that Madnoren did for our league. He pays most of our server fee and does the rest of the stuff related to it....thanks to all those who donated for the server maintenance fee too....keep it up. Evohahn too, always put MSR first before anything else and look at where we are now. With ppl like us, enthusiats (junkie) we share it professionally online and we have created a great environment for some great racing. Last nite first corner was a manisfestation to that. I wouldnt have made it to the finish line if its not because the professionalism of our guys giving way and were super alert to the upcoming cars and the blue flags.
Thus I must congratulate all of us for contributing in our own way, to the growth of MSR and let us keep up the effort and see where we can go from here.

Too much practice also means nothing because to climb another ladder or in another words to shave that extra tenths would require more scientific approach rather than blindly pushing the track.

I would like to put Madnoren view into perspective here, it's a track quality time not quantity. Put Michael Schumacher for a couple of lap at Interlagos and he would have been immediately fast. You can be fast and consistent without too much track time provided quality time is spent at that track. Hence the testing program must be developed to utilize all the track time you spent.

Eventhough I hadn't won this championship, it's one hell of a long battle. KUDOS MSR.

Anyone up for a random race in MSR MOD tonite, jus havin some fun near the season closer. Few practise laps and boom race, we will see who can stand unknown factor better than the rest. Im available tonite....

Thats exactly wut i mean. My practice laps were not just laps. I stop and motec and check and recheck many2 parameters....not only on the virtual car and track, but also my rigs parameters, my driving position, and combine it all in a different way to find which suits me best. Even how my socks get in contact with the throttle matters and can affect consistency. It is these things that I look out for when i do those practice laps.

Looking it from a scientific POV is crucial too i agree...hence my motec usage and the understanding to load transfer....coz we all in the end strife to be the ultimate 'dynamic mass manipulator.'

I do hope as I go longer in this simracing, i would finally be like the old-timers (U and Madnoren) and like u said spend minimal time to understand the car and track. Im still in the learning curve and still a noobie....just in this for just more than a year.

I like the unknown factor thing....im up for it...heheheh any ideas?

F1 88 is an awesome beta!

At first with default setup at Interlagos i spun on every slow mid corner....i fixed everything, front wing, brake bias, ride height and ARB to get load off the front as much as i can during mid slow corner....but then wut i did i raise the 1st gear ratio higher so the car didnt snap as much. The mid corner oversteer started during the initial braking plus engine braking. Only this cars snapped slower than the modern f1 sim counterparts. After i fixed the gear ratio then i can safely steer the car into slow corners.

It didnt like too much steering lock either...i have mine at 9-10 rite between responsiveness and cornering radius. Rear tyres heats up much2 more than the fronts but doing it much less after i soften up the rear suspension. But the margin is still too high....

Fun2 mod to drive....on a track like interlagos....very nice..

So anyone wanna play something for tonight? F1 88? MSR mod?

Jus relax and have fun racing like a quick race session with many mods?
