try searching for a new 80GB Asian set. 20/60 GB Asian or JPN sets also can play NTSC/J ps2 games, but hard to buy new, can get as 2nd hand mostly.

for testing ps2 backwards compatibily, i recommend SotC NTSC/J

totally agrees....although still suffers from framerate prob...i wish they will remake SOTC to PS3 ...imagine HD graphics with no framerates prob.... drool.gif

ok a friend of mine is wondering if he can connect his ps3 to celcom 3g broadband. Is it possible man? I doubt it is possible.

i just brought one at imbi mario. good price. good service. rm 1350 for ps3 40 gig. biggrin.gif

guys..if i would get a ps3, should i choose the 80GB from S'pore version?

if i would like to hock up to my 24" 2407 series to play with ps3 iz possible?

it is possible, provided you friend bought the linksys wireless broadband router and PCMCIA card...which will cost about RM1400 for both laugh.gif

i got mine for RM75
i guess it wont affect the quality, just tht DVI without the audio, correct me if i am wrong smile.gif

bro another question,

y do v need big capacity for PS3? eg..60GB or 80GB...

since v can use external hdd like 250 or 300GB to connect via USB at PS3..does this make any differences?

yes.. hdmi to hdmi will output together with the audio.
hdmi to dvi without the audio.
so u need to use another output from ur ps3 for ur audio smile.gif
