just got my white PS3 , currently i looking for LCD to utilize my ps3, should i go for PC LCD or TV LCD? wat's the pros and cons? and the cheapest location to get those?

nvm.. edi susah payah decide between xbox, wii and ps3, doesnt matter if susah again now..

my setup is in my small sleeping room not living room. tht's mean LCD monitors suit me more?

currently i got one 21" normal ctv, dvd and divx player.. will sit on floor or lying on bed mostly..
got one stone age p3 pc wit crt monitor and altec lansing speaker

in terms of video quality, there is not much different between those 2?

i am using LG 20" LCD, it's working fine for me

it's been 5 days since i got my ps3 but i still cant create an account
everytime i wanna go register, it will ask me go update 1st.
but everytime connection failed when i am trying to do system update

i dont know wat's the region.. how to check? it's ceramic white one..

but i noticed something wrong wit my console
if i place it horizontally, it will hang sometimes in the middle of the game but it's ok if i place it vertically..
is tht normal?

yup.. but the hang never occur in game.. it's actually occured during the loading

i got mine for RM75
i guess it wont affect the quality, just tht DVI without the audio, correct me if i am wrong

same thing with why u need to buy notebook with hdd? since v can use external hdd also

hdmi to dvi without the audio.
so u need to use another output from ur ps3 for ur audio

i think 60/80GB got more usb ports than 40G.
yes, another cable for ur PS3 to computer speakers, tht's how my current set up is

if connect ur ps3 to ur normal tv u use the cable wit 3 color rite? yellow, white, red. (yellow for video, white red for audio)
just unplug the yellow cable from ur ps3, leave the white and red color remain plugged. then get a Y splitter (refer page 1) so that this two audio out will bridge into one input to ur pc speaker. remember to select ur audio type with XMB.
get a HDMI -> DVI cable. just connect ur ps3 wit ur LCD via the HDMI port and DVI port. done!

the splitter very cheap only. less than rm10
it's either wont affect frame-rate or the reduction is too small for me to get noticed.
so far so good wit game like FIFA08, ghost recon, assassin's creed

i got the 40GB issue. so far no issue yet. cross finger
left it overnite to download game also seems to be ok but i am in aircon room
