Just got myself a nice leather PDair case for my N95 8GB...Ordered the silicone one but then it's fugly. Really fugly compared to the PDair...Cost of the pouch is RM68 or £10...

Here's how it looks like:

Ahh! Ok this is interesting!
Me likey like this better than Nokia CP 235! One thing is it's vertical flap which is better than horizontal flap like CP 235. Sometimes I wonder why Nokia changed it when it works very well with N95-1, pfftt.

Secondly, see that button? It is way better than the one in Nokia. Nokia use this button and a hole in a leather, not the real button head and bottom! And from the look of this pic, it looks like a magnetic button, yes? Garfie, can u pleaseeeeee tell us where did you find this and the price is awesome!

Btw, this is the pics of CP 235, taken from hardwarezone sg (Credits to David Loh) already available in Singapore for SGD18.

I think the one Garfie has is better lor. Garfieeee faster tell! nod.gif Also would be nice if you could post the real pic of the pouch, the advertorial pics always look amazing than it actually is, lol!

Added on December 13, 2007, 3:08 pmHere more pics of that PDair pouch. Well, the vertical flap down techniques is kinda weird after a few looks I think, hehe.

http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info....roducts_id=6846

But it is very nice pouch, Solid and looks sturdy than the one from Nokia lor. See the way it covers the camera, Nokia one too big the hole. I think.

Actually. Magnetic clips arent really theft-proof. Coz its almost silent when you open it. You might not hear it when a thief comes and open it and takes your phone away. However with the one Nokia has. It has quite a loud click sound to alert you and its pretty hard to open. The Nokia one should server better. But i dont like the side-flip one.

Careful, having a magnetic nearby your phones will drain up the battery

True, but the one my friend has, it's original nokia, it's too hard to close, have to press down really hard wor. But theft is not my main concern, just dont put ur phone on the table that's all... they are not thinking of getting the phone out of the pouch anyway, they will take the pouch together. Haha.

The one I have the chapalng one is also hard to close, I thot only for chapalang brand but it seemed it applies to Original Nokia too. I feel it u have to push too hard and harming the phone in a way.

@Bufung
That's the thing, the old N95-1, there's a ridge between top panel and bottom so the plastic holder at the side can sorta hang there and will not touch the top panel. Now that N95 8GB has no more ridge, I am not sure how the hell it works now... how to slide if the plastick hold? Hmm...

Yes, after a while I have to agree cos the vertical flip is in the wrong directions. Hmm... the N95-1 pouch is still the best I think, it's vertical flip and it flips correctly.
The new Nokia CP 235 is nice if only it doesnt flip horizontally!!! But worse come to worst I will still get it, rather than using this chapalang pouch for N95-1, which is not really a good fit for N95-2 LOL.

Wallau! Angry or what liowwwww! Did I say it looked cacat before, LOL!
Hmmm.... it seemed to be flipped correctly than the PDair. I come to think Nokia CP235 is better than the PDair now because of the flip. nod.gif
But oh well for RM160 it better be firm tight grip tongue.gif
NICE! I love it, looks better in real pic than the advertorial ones nod.gif

I don't use pouch at all after applying the MFSP. Seems to hold up normal wear and tear quite well and no noticeable scratches so far (except the back part where the surface kinda soft so easily leave "marks").

Felt much more happy without the pouch. rclxm9.gif

Hmm... like this...

8legfreak pouch: It flips vertical, from bottom up... like when ur gf/mom/sister (or you if you are a girl) opens her compact powder.

PDair: It flips vertical, from top to bottom. Like peel banana. This one I think wrong direction lor, IMHO, like bit weird la when answer phone like that.

Nokia N95-1 casing that comes in the box, same like 8legfreak pouch.

Nokia N95-2 - CP235 casing, flip horizontally, like a book smile.gif This one is not so bad altho I like flip vertical more smile.gif

@razyblade

Me old already mah, 29 yrs old. Haha. I used to wear fancy cute looking pouch but I had 3 near death experience when take out the phone. The phone NEARLLY dropped leh... thank god i managed to 'catch' it first, sigh... so i like the leather pouch that make the phoen stays inside, no need to take out. Safer for me. And I have to have a pouch altho it is bulky and not that sexy looking.... because I am obsess with fingerprints and smudges. I will be restless and keep polishing the phone... until even my camera lense cover now is scratched beyong saving biggrin.gif
