planning to get this phone by this week.. n95 8gb.. from penang.. haven decided where to get it from though..

however.. still uncertain whether to get an ap set rm2.2k+.. vs avaxx rm2.8k+ .. difference of rm600+ for assurance.. worth it?

it's 27xx now, avaxx set...
now dono wat software to install first, doing backups first from my n70me to this phone..

yup, got it from microlink.. 1st floor there, near to kenny rogers..

aiyo, my gps seems to cannot find the sattelite, any idea why?
how long did you guys manage to get the gps to work after buying..

i switch it on, and the bar with 4 yellow dots keep moving.. move and move...
tried inside my house (i think inside cannot de),
tried while driving to work inside car (maybe moving vehicle harder to lock?)

haven't tried standing out at roadside yet..

i bought avaxx set, can it be upgraded? but if upgraded will i lose all my games, songs, vids , settings inside?

but is it jus me or do u feel the nokia maps of malaysia very NOT DETAIL.. hard for me to find around eevn wif the nokiamap..

is there any other more detail map where i can put inside my n95? i actually jus wan a detail map of kl and penang.. at least no need take physical map around

yeah! , finally installed garmin mobilext gps using my internal n95 8gb receiver, plus included malsing map inside.. very detail, and got voice navigation too..

wah, maybe its just my brain slow or wat, took whole morning to do the step by step setup.. >< searched all over the net ..

checked, u can access the albums tru the multimedia keys..

but still can find a way to hide it without a 3rd party application

the car charger can be actually bought for just rm15, but its not original obviously, still usable..

this is different from my previous N70ME where if in silent mode, camera will be silent.

i also didnt know how to use the gps initially, but managed to get all the info from googling around..

anyway garmin xt mobile software is a great navigational software for gps..

just that its not stated the way to obtain the unlock id for your gps.. that one try searching google for the exe file..

Hi, it is not in my download page as well.. u can try to download the sis file direct from nokia page.. I remembered i got it from there.. But maybe it wasn't malaysia nokia,think it was china one? Can't remember..

Anyway i would recommend u to use ebuddy for messaging.can login yahoo and msn at the same time,also light weight.

nice u got it to work..

regarding the volume which is super loud for applications, can't help much, but if your application/game got their own volume control, u can change it from there..

most of my .sis games which i installed on my phone got their own option for volume/sound..

anyone can give other suggestions?

haha good idea also use headphone wif volume control..

had my N95 8GB for nearly 3 weeks now.. very satisfied with it..

havent bought any lens cover yet though
