Try disable the PAT function. I was having BSOD when hit 4GH with that function on. But once disable, things go flawless.

PAT is not really recommended for high frequencies unless your RAM can take it

true also, PAT really kills the oc performance. will try to see how does it go with PAT disabled.

@sang_karim
as your hfs almost like mine, so just want to ask. as my northbridge is hotter than my cpu, so think of a way to cool it down.

@raymond
the PAT you mentioned is the memory performance mode in advanced setting?

ERm...to disable it.I think this can be done in bios mode there under my GAT settings or some other place.Not very also.I am using my mobo with PAT enable when the first day i got my mobo. sweat.gif I know how to use software to disable it only.

ur nb is hotter than ur cpu aaa?? i dunno how mine cooled down but normally it's around 38C - 41C ... maybe my air flow in casing better than urs kot? unsure.gif 2x80mm fan exhaust at back of the casing and open 1 front bay cover for air to come in ... then 1x80mm fan at side panel as intake ... my 120mm CM LED fan is blowing downward just like urs b4 ... how bout urs? hmm.gif

Raymond, to disbale PAT in BIOS is not in the GAT settings
Its the PSB settings in an Abit mobo

yes, its hotter. around 40+-. my cpu <30C. coz the casing in my rig now not good airflow. so just open it. seems yours are alot better than mine.

I see. PSB there.533 to disable the PAT right?

Added on November 16, 2007, 6:09 pmshinjite,i know already. I think i read some reviews before on what PSB can disable the PAT features.But i've to find back those informations and see.

Added on November 16, 2007, 6:10 pm@kabu,I think if my mobo(Abit does the same way to enable the PAT,Asus P4P800-X also can do the same thing.We need to do some homework already.For my Asus mobo,usually i enable it by using software to do that.
