nobody today truly can afford a house no matter how much you wanted it...so stop thinking about it

and you don't need credit card to show others that you have good credit...you just need to be able to show yourself peace

no, its more like kena peer pressured by socmed to consume and buy

all just because janji bergaya biar kedana logic
*
I would argue it's both.

Last time before e-commerce become so prevalent, we don't swipe phone and add useless things to cart and wait for sales every month.

Of course, socmed pressure usually is more towards more high ticket items.

degree today has become too common
next thing you know degree is useless and masters is minimum
thn PHD is minimum and masters and degree is useless
thn what's next? hmm.gif laugh.gif

it's all heading to a dead end from where i see it

spend so much money to get this and that only to be offered minimum wage by HR/manager
with no way to pay off that education loan doh.gif
and thn AI overtaking everything ain't helping one bit laugh.gif

Just go the muflis page at fb.
You will be suprised by how they manage their finance.
BPNL, cars, personal loans, credit cards and housing loans. All in one.
And most of them is goverment servant. Some earning 5k a month but servicing 4k debts monthly. I even saw a guy post there proudly he purposely don't pay his PL for 7 years. Now bank can't do shit about it.
God knows how they manage to do it.

Wife max out all loans, then don't pay and declare bankruptcy

Husband keep the money and pay for her monthly expenses

Same method for those scams companies, just find a scapegoat to declare bankrupt

Young ppl like to use future money and pay 2x back,
Syiok sekarang, mati katak kemudian.

Especially influence by those ads and promo in tiktok and online shopping playform. Majority of youngster bought a lot of useless non necessity stuff, high end gadget, cool motorcycle/cars mod for short term pride/attentionhorse. What worse some even been influence to buy condo/house that monthly repayment bigger than their monthly salary.

Plenty of sub-sale (leasehold with 60 yr left) within 350k to choose from in Klang Valley area.

RM350k with 30 year loan (loan 90%) = RM1.5k per month

If dual income family = can make do

If single, rent saje

Yes have a colleague that in his early 30s. Worked as property agent before. Now worked in my company to standby for property launching (which may be a year away) to get his commision. Basic RM4k now.

Back then pulled the shit of applying RUMAWIP and one premium housing in Bangsar that costs RM800k, VP soon. Got bf some more. Everyday after working, he continue work part time as bartender.

If my project really delay in launching, confirm he HKL already, unless he sell butt at premium price... but BFE just cant fight GFE in making money.
