QUOTE(exclus1ve @ Nov 25 2025, 09:10 AM) Just go the muflis page at fb. The damm statement is the debt occur by the personnel who is under 30yo.You will be suprised by how they manage their finance. BPNL, cars, personal loans, credit cards and housing loans. All in one. And most of them is goverment servant. Some earning 5k a month but servicing 4k debts monthly. I even saw a guy post there proudly he purposely don't pay his PL for 7 years. Now bank can't do shit about it. God knows how they manage to do it. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 25 2025, 09:26 AM) I'm not a banker nor a loan officer.Maybe I can put my house with bank value 1.1mil as collateral and they will waive my income earned criteria. However I have a doubt that the bank won't loan me up to 1mil even with collateral. |

I too nearly bankrupt due to a business loan previously.
The business had to close down during MCO. Eventually, managed to nego with the bank for a settlement. Finally came to a comfortable sum provided can keep paying without delays. I did my best and eventually paid everything off. Sold many personal items and cars. Essentially, downgraded my lifestyle to B40 level. Right now as a B40, it is pretty much comfortable with gomen benefits. And yes, some friends refused to call or meet up but I don't care and don't need these people. |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Nov 25 2025, 09:16 AM) mortgage, car loan, credit card is already enough Same most of the young people waiting in line for the famous brand shops (LV, Gucci etc) are the ones you know who can least afford it but peer/social media pressure is driving themin fact credit card/BNPL alone is enough young malaysians' income today really cannot afford anything that they shouldn't be thinking about house or car and should NOT be owning any credit card but reality is they did and it's bankrupting them thus i'm gonna repeat myself time and time again, credit card is NOT a good thing...it will only make people spend more than what they can afford Phoenix_KL and MR_alien liked this post

QUOTE(desmond2020 @ Nov 25 2025, 09:16 AM) given the amount, most likely housing loan? why notcredit card debt impossible can go to that extend for young people credit card, once u reach a level where you can only or can't even pay the minimum payment on the statement it's game over aka either AKPK or bankruptcy it won't take RM500k at all, the compounding interest + late payment fee every month is going to roll and kill you This post has been edited by MR_alien: Yesterday, 10:02 AM |

QUOTE(Emily Ratajkowski @ Nov 25 2025, 09:10 AM) lol 500k-1mil. Some people success but very low number compare to the one failed, it's just a gamble sometimes win sometimes lose. Those dunno play the game surely lose big and crying for help but then cannot sale also ended lelong to bank and remaining debt still to pay but still bankrupt. Those gamble in forest city foreigners knows this very well. LOL.confirm is trying to play property game. I don't understand why people like property so much. It's super mafan and not even that lucrative returns. This post has been edited by danielmckey: Yesterday, 09:59 AM |
