When RM 3k salary driving a new japs cars... U know financial planning got problems... Not to say they will bankrupt... But it won't be wise... Unless some small percentage of these people actually doing very well in later stage of their career... Else many many are struggling from what I see....

lol 500k-1mil.

confirm is trying to play property game.

I don't understand why people like property so much. It's super mafan and not even that lucrative returns.

marketing so good. last time advertisement limited to TV iklan, and only a few and in a day max u watch like 30mins ads. That also half the time u spend kencing berak during ads break.

Now influencer keep pushing content online gen Z spend hours watching ads. kena brainwash buy stuff they dont need and drown themselves in debt

Youth wants everything since it's easily available.

Want big house, big car - salary just enough for installment.

Want buy stuff every sales - BNPL/credit cards, use first, free credits

PTPTN - don't need to pay, gov will waive one day

Oversea holidays every year - they went there, we also need to go there

which property u bought which year how much?

I bought 1 shoplot back in 2017 now 2025 only the rental can break even with installment. lol. Property price that area now raise like 30%. Still underperform compared to ETF.

Cannot imagine ppl who bought residential unit. sure dying a slow painful death.

The number of individuals aged 30 and below who were declared bankrupt rose sharply to 332 cases, up about 60 per cent from 208 during the same period in 2024.

In the first nine months of 2025, Malaysia recorded 4,875 bankruptcy cases, a 5.7 per cent increase from the 4,611 cases registered during the same period in 2024. A total of 3,491 cases, or 71.6 per cent, involved debts between RM500,000 and RM999,999, while 1,004 cases, or 20.6 per cent, involved debts between RM100,000 and RM499,999.

Misleading title. Below 30 bankrupt only 300~ cases, and nowhere ot asserts that they bankrupt with 500k-1Mil

mortgage, car loan, credit card is already enough

in fact credit card/BNPL alone is enough

young malaysians' income today really cannot afford anything that they shouldn't be thinking about house or car and should NOT be owning any credit card
but reality is they did and it's bankrupting them
thus i'm gonna repeat myself time and time again, credit card is NOT a good thing...it will only make people spend more than what they can afford
*
But but no credit cannot show bank I have good credit score wor

Young Malaysian also need get house or car what if not how to have family?
