:-) If you bug your RM frequently, he/she may roll out the retail bonds which have 1-3 % higher returns than FDs. You can also ask him/her to vary the FD's tenure to catch the best promo rate.

The 2 forum seniors millionaires I definitely cannot go close to having either a single 7 figure FD slip or so many priority banking memberships

I have been seeing in Facebook in the past year there has been many customer appreciation dinners for Maybank Premier Wealth. Wonder what is the criteria to be the chosen one then

U have already joined MBB Premier Wealth, right ? I am their Premier Wealth in name only. Nothing in tiger bank due to their promo not that good last 1 to 2 years.

Dude, which bank does not charges fee/ close account should balance lower than required? I've only dealt with HLB pb so far

As I said before, I have moved out from SCB PB. As scared that they will charge me monthly fees.

MBB one they did not bother about me and I seldom go there anyway for last 1 or 2 years. Other than buying ASX units.

Some of the banks claimed that they will remove you as PB member if u did not top up. Some said so far no charges as they do not want to lose the customer. Some of course said will charge u.

U deal with HLB only ? I thought u are PB member for sooo many banks !

Probably the most (or only?) useful thing about Maybank PW is the new "Wealth" app which you can sign onto through fingerprint in iOS. Fastest way to check balances !

CIMB said they will downgrade u to normal if u fall below the AUM req. UOB I have fall slightly below the requirement still happily going inside their PB lounge, though at one time was ZERO for 2 mths.

Why? just imagine how much they are losing to inflation imagine 1mil disposable, and in FD, what a waste.

i'll take note of MBB then, hopefully the RM will not notice my balance when the time comes. I think Ambank has terms and conditions too but I did not read the whole sheet yet.

In the meantime, I'll strive to be like the senior forumers here

MBB still tag me as their PB, still receiving emails for the PB member (Premier) despite having like small amt in SA.

AmBank offered PB to me. RHB auto upgraded me to PB (to avoid giving referral fee )

I thought you already joined Ambank? Still waiting to see if they have any new year or CNY goodies but their credit card that comes with priority banking is good, they now have unlimited premium lounge access unlike previously, so in 1 trip, I went twice! The credit card also comes with the entertainer app which comes with many buy 1 free 1 promos which I have been using the past whole year happily.

Yes, already one when they offered to me in 2016. But my RM seems to have resigned, no news for a while. Penang wise, not sure if they have any PB center. Signed up in branch only and the RM supposed to be in branch twice a week.

The AmBank branch manager provide better service when I am inside there. But recently their FD offer not that good.

Just to check with you, did they offer the Priority Banking credit card to you?

I just joined Ambank PB, apparently i have to submit documents to branch for application

As I was offered the PB status, I just went to the branch to sign the document. Cannot remember if the RM offer the credit card. I already have 2 active credit cards. Do not find the need for another free credit cards.

Unfortunately, the turnover in Ambank is very high now, so RMs keep changing Even the staff at the priority banking centre all different now


When I joined Ambank PB when it first started, they automatically gave me the credit card & the RM told me is sort of like a membership card also for PB.
