Ya, UOB Penang PB is upstairs. Sometimes it is faster to do it in normal banking PB line downstairs instead of climbing upstairs. No eye candy upstairs either. Though my RM from CB (moved to UOB) is eye candy from WhatsApp picture.  drool.gif  drool.gif  devil.gif

let me be the judge of that.

Coupon 4.7% is kind of low esp after deducting sales charge, actual yield will be lower. Did u ask what is the eff yield ? What is the launch price, current price ? Launched Nov 2016 ?  hmm.gif

The CIMB one that I bought in Dec 2016 is coupon 5.5% before taking into account of SC. Received first payment in June.  biggrin.gif

Lower coupon than CIMB, but sold at a discount - "Price to cust:94.50%". So effective yield is higher than the coupon?

Anyone part of AM Private Banking? How to go about purchasing bond in SGD? I was told that the RM service for AM Private Banking is pretty good in terms of getting the most worthwhile bonds to invest in.

U can buy bond in SGD from CIMB. Ask your RM. Also can use leverage, called Reverse Repo. biggrin.gif

The food sucks.
They are launching a close ended fund exclusively for PB customers,
3.18% sales charge, minimum investment 50k
aims for 25% returns within 3 years,
capital not protected.

Recently, CB one at E & O Hotel food not bad. CIMB one also at E & O Hotel, good as well.

Only CIMB one has fund hse rep station outside the conference hall selling their products. Both did not really sell any product during presentation except for CIMB, one insurance company trying to stress about insurance/UT tied up with good returns. biggrin.gif

AM Private Banking or Priority Banking? If private, I think AUM has to be minimum RM 1 mil so service definitely good

Received RHB's PB referral program SMS and email. RM388 referral bonus. mad.gif

Late last year, was trying to introduce family members to this program. But RHB go and "auto approve" them and myself into their PB, without any application forms signed ! In a way dirty trick to save them from paying the referral bonus. devil.gif

Have done referral of family members before in OCBC and earned some bonus to share among family members. biggrin.gif
