best thing about this is, once you masuk islam, your counter will reset and become like baby . meaning no sin counted whatsoever . Also those that continue eat la m y no ekor la, honestly, ayam have no answer .

Is it worth taking up the pre-planning packages by those funeral services company? Any cons?

Btw, are those packages transferable to another person in case you don't use their services when you KO?

Advantages:
1) prices keep rising all the time, so you are securing the price for now..but do read the T&C (example, some packages don't include urn and catering).
2) no need to hunt for a package when the time comes, which is really important. You just contact them and they will arrange everything (collecting the body from mortuary to be embalmed, etc)

Disadvantage:
1) if parlour halls are all occupied, the client has to wait for his/her turn - which means delay of at least one day (depending on when queue) or more. Those who pantang might be affected.

Fairypark is more affordable compared to nirvana. In Buddhism, we can do it simple. Go to a buddhist temple (not the chinese type) to seek advice.

I could be wrong though, anyone can feel free to correct me:

If you bought a place holder/plot, be it cremation or burial, if no "body" occupied it yet then you can transfer the name to other person (assuming you have already paid finish the package/loan of that).

Else, if someone already occupied in it, you can't transfer the name to other person, but if you choose to transfer the "body" out, the place can no longer be re-used.

Still depend on the place on where you bought it, need to ask & check.

Based on my experience, those funeral package is transferable. My case is under Nirvana.
