Well can’t believe I would need to buy this one day for preparation but that’s reality

I really have no idea wheere to begin with
I stay in condo so i need to hold the wake at a place, ceremony etc

The reason I asking this because if my family member pass away I will be sad state n with this sign up package hopefully I wont be in chaos

from my experience. its better to be prepared and get everything organize. else when the day comes, everyone will come to you and you will be confused and too stress and disturbed to make the right decision

my grand parents pass away 3 days a part...you can imagine the stress. long lost relative never seen before suddenly promote burial plot. look for nice photo dont have, need to photoshop-kena chop I think rm500 or so (mind you that was like 20 years ago).

Both cremation and burial require separate purchase of funeral service.

ask your family first, what their wish if they someday pass away, burial or cremation ? if cremation, go see the bone ash tower, burial one u have to go look for slot, where they want their second home ?

then the funeral process, discuss with local funeral service or the big one like Nirvana, usually got package one.

last but not least, please inform your love ones. make the wills before leave, prevent future argument, this always happen in chinese sociaty...

Just engage Nirvana, they will explain to you A - Z. Buying early is recommended because it will be cheaper and less hassle than last minute purchase. Recently bought a package last minute around RM15k. All inclusive ceremony, casket, monk prayers etc. From my experience, Nirvana agents are very professional. The Nirvana center in KL is very modern and nice.

If money is not an issue, early preparation is always the way to go no matter is for ur self or ur elderlies.
I just experience this last 2 month that my father suddenly pass away , but he already well prepared almost everything for this day to come. We just have to do our part & no need to worry for the money issue.

if you single, masyuk islam, then let them handle, that's what a lot of single foreveralone chinese uncle did.

if you dont want masyuk islam, then you can buy the "apartment" or "landed" burial plot. and nirvana I know you can pre buy all the service, until when you die, the price stay the same, instant cases usually cost more, they follow market price and no discount for you.

in the end, it's just your choice (or your parents or your loved one's choice) on where you/he/she wanna park his/her final rest

I bought one spot in PJ for about 5k, had to fork out 18k first for the entire 3-day funeral, but the guy told us they will only ask for payment after the day end unlike Nirvana where you NEED to pay the entire thing first else they won't bother helping you. The white money collected just enough to cover the 18k.

I also bought one Nirvana for about RM33k, not landed, but got durian pay if they got earn profit (something like that) but only after finishing paying your settlement

Other races will also have volunteers or ngo to handle forever alone death.

Otherwise the govt will do the necessary.

Sorry forgot to mention that my religion is Buddhism

yea, some I heard got also, i saw the coffin donation before for those foreveralone, or those stay in old folk homes :X

you need to buy the columbarium plot unit, and the funeral servcice separately. 2 diff things.
