HD3200 is just an average 3d card. Dont expect it to play dx10 games like assasin creed or crysis. But your laptop should be able to play Red alert 3 with not much problems.

I'm not 2 sure for the newer cards like the HD3200. But the amount of memory isnt the important issue when gaming since its all about the speed of your card, not how much ram it has.

Even if you have a HD3200 with 2GB graphic ram, a HD3470 with 512MB will still beat it since it faster by nature. The only solution would be to change the graphic card but most laptops 3d card are permanently fix to the motherboard so you cant change it even if you wanted to.

Can. Just not at high settings and at high resolution. I think you can play crysis at 1024 resolution at low-med setting.

The best part is very playable FPS with nice graphic.... unlike crysis where (1) if nice graphic, OMG FPS.... (2) if nice FPS, OMG graphic
but the bad part is lack of video settings......

NOTE: The game is quite strategic where u need to order to command ur teammate to position and suppress the enemy so they will hide themselves more and take ur chance to move forward and kill them... need quite some patient to play with it cause very easy to die.

NOTE: The game still looks quite nice even with all low, but not very noticeable frame improvement, only 2-3fps different from MAX and MIN on stationary scene

hi guys,

currently i am using NEC Versa E400, i think 7years old... still runing good... but the technology really stop me from doing alot of things... so i plan to change it end of this year, below are my requirements:

- budget RM4k
- spec, centrino2, 2gb above, 6mb ram, 1066mhz FSB
- ram 3/4gb, as far as i know vistan 32 bit only support till 3.2gb
- 3d graphic card
- screen 15" and above

you guys have any idea which laptop is a good deal? or is there any new tech/processor that is about to launch that i am not aware of during this end year??... i can delay my buy a little.., i am looking for a laptop with good reliability... well sometimes luck also play an inportant role.

one more thing... i notice there are many types of grphic card, like ati HD3450 and nvidia ge force 9500, which one is better?? ati hd 3450 should be more for hi definition rite??

hope you guys can help me out... thanks..

either of them are not good for hardcore gaming...

light gaming, both are okay...

anyway HD 3450 > 9200M

Nothing wrong with Crystal Eye. Its just fine. You can ask the 6920.
If you want gaming performance and thats the best you can get for that price.
If your looking for 2k notebook the CQ45 is the one for you.

get at least a 8400M nvidia or ati 3470 to play those games. But you will be playing them at low-med quality at 1024 resolution since you want 2 be cheaper.

Other then that most new mobile processors will hand the game.

Compaq CQ40 due to the ATI 3450 is better than the others option.
