About tire pressure, would like to ask u guys..Do u all follow the tire Air pressure recommended by Proton which is printed on the door side?
For 195/55 they recommend front 31,back 28.. I went to tire shop they say it's too low so they pump for me front and rear 31.. But with this pressure,The tires are quite compared and the car very stable.. |

crank attached to ur crank shaft. This one increase the acc of the car. But if the crank is too light. u will hav problem going uphill.
cam attached to ur cam shaft. u can adjust the camshaft timing. by retarding or advancing the timing u can basically shift the powerband up or down so that it suit u better. example if u wan more acc u advance the timing and this will move the powerband down. so if usually u hav 50hp@3000 rpm now it has become 60hp@3000 rpm. so this will giv u better acc which is good for city driving. at a sacrifice of worst petrol consumption and less power at high rpm. You will also lost top speed. by retarding the setting u do the opposite. u safe fuel and u hav higher top speed wit better power on higher rpm. very good if ur always on highways or worry abt fuel consumption and dont care abt power. thts kindda from my understanding la This post has been edited by WhitE LighteR: Jan 4 2008, 09:37 AM |

QUOTE(squareballs @ Jan 3 2008, 07:54 PM) Engine won't get overheated..Just that performance will be sluggish as the engine sucks in hot air from the engine bay if you use open pod without heatshield and CAI QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Jan 3 2008, 10:56 PM) It's lightened crank pulley btw.. QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Jan 4 2008, 01:35 AM) underpower?hmm,i dun think so.feel okay right now There's a slight increase in performance but very minimal i guess..but i think it's a good investment as you don't have to change your air filter anymore..but for Gen2,the stock snorkel can be changed to a larger snorkel..Heard that drop in air filter + large snorkel gave them noticeably increase in performance...not sure about Waja though.. i dunno.both are diff price right? but i heard there's almost no power gain from that. eh?u sure?try going go to sunway car heaven and see how much can u get there.eneos abit exp. This is wut the seller say la. Nope. If better power means worst fuel comsumption. How u think the power comes? Magic? |
