QUOTE(squareballs @ Nov 18 2007, 02:40 PM) What kind of exhaust system?4-2-1? yeah, custom 4-2-1 with bigger piping i presume.original route and the muffler dunno yet.heard S-flow mufflers are just marketing gimmicks.Drop in air filter wouldn't be a problem..for the exhaust system..better make more research before touching it.. what's your opinion squareballs? also, putting in a pivot raizin/sparkearth good for 5 years old car or not? |

QUOTE(squareballs @ Nov 18 2007, 02:59 PM) 4-2-1 should be ok..But about the pipping i dunno..Have u take out your catalytic converter?I heard for 4-2-1 to perform, the CC should be replaced by bullet.. i'm still calculating the cost.no mods done to the car yet.its my mom actually.i only drive the saga LMST.she wants power and refreshing looks, i think i just throw in a waja MME PU front, back bumper and skirting, and paint the car red.For muffler,S flow are just cosmetic purposes..Stick back to original the best.. Pivot raizin VS should be a good upgrade..Have u done grounding?Grounding paired with VS works great.. catalytic converter huh..hmm i heard there are many types of bullet, aren't they?which one is suitable? ah grounding, i totally forgot bout these.guess it'll add up the cost eh.grounding+VS. got around 2k+ to spend on the car.not rushing to buy things though, so i'll just scout here and there 1st.rushing=bad for money Added on November 18, 2007, 3:13 pm QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Nov 18 2007, 03:08 PM) If u wan to stick back stock muffler u cant increase piping size. Standard now if i not mistaken is 1.75". Normally ppl upgrade either go for 1.8" (rare) or 2" and change muffler wit 2" ID also. i think he meant by stock is the straight flow muffler This post has been edited by cloudstrife07: Nov 18 2007, 03:13 PM |

QUOTE(squareballs @ Nov 18 2007, 03:54 PM) Im not sure..mmm.. i told ya already:U wan change MME bumper?Changing bumper better go for something better in quality.. Dun go for fiber,at least PU.. Later u drive at high speed a stone fly towards that bumper, the whole thing might crack.. QUOTE she wants power and refreshing looks, i think i just throw in a waja MME PU front, back bumper and skirting, and paint the car red. hehe.yeah, fiber looks nice, but it's cumbersome to maintain.have to be careful all the time. |

QUOTE(lklatmy @ Nov 21 2007, 11:06 AM) Look for the -ve wire(black) from the headlamp unit bolted to the car body, connect this wire to the -ve terminal of the battery using connectors and wires you bought.be careful not to mix up +ve and -ve.else,disaster will happen. those cheap wires will do the job right?eh, btw i went to kedai abang, i saw got 3 types of waja backlight. 1. skyline smoked edition 2. LED edition 3. skyline shining edition (got something like chrome color inside) LED nice or the smoked one nice ah?sorry guys no pic, i forgot to take. both also around 400 a set.i'll buy somewhere else where its cheaper lar.heh. QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Nov 23 2007, 02:39 PM) I like the skyline sytle one better. BUT i realize those are not as bright as the original light AND the size of the thing is a bit cacat coz waja rear light not big enough to accommodate two skyline style circles. not my waja, so i cant go No ar.. wut i mean if its NOT smoked it looks better. Dun u realize the bmw style waja rear lamp is smoked at the signal part? That one la imho of clear is better. So.... for the one gazillion time.. im calling for a TT session for LYN wajarian.. who's in? so it's better to stick with original one lar right? |
