It was not in their 2018 manifesto and how can you claim they broke it? To be fair, there were a few politicians in PKR who talk about it but in their final manifesto, it was not abolishing but exemption only. Their 2022 manifesto also didn't mention it.

Don't talk about earlier manifesto because they didn't win and not the government. It's like people still talk about Rafizi promise of lower petrol price 3 or 4 GE ago and still bring it back today which is ridiculous

The 100 days promise in 2018 is those earning 4K and below no need to pay and they lift the travel ban for blacklisted people

my personal opinion on ptptn issue, gov should just own up say we cant do this ptptn manifesto and travel ban all those defaulter.. because im one of the ptptn borrowers and i understand the need to pay but some really buat bodoh tak apa attitude but then travel here and there..
