to be honest i couldn't care less if he asked nicely, can even give partial refund or whatever and he can keep the item, in fact i even offered that lol but he just want to return lmao

i have no issues with returns and in fact in most cases i am more generous and lenient than whatever return or warranty policy on paper

but is the attitude lol if trigger me then dont blame me enforce the policies by the book

They assume seller open door do business sure will account for some leeway for claim like this. That's why when do business u should never cut ur margin into the bare minimum, always need to account for stupid nonsense that is out of your control. In this regard orang kita always kena game by this factor when their business flourished.

Meanwhile the buyer who gain in all this fiasco will go around tell ppl this "loophole" logic. Attract more ppl to simply buy first then refund later. Most of the time they end up no refund punya, quite rare ppl go karen mode like this.

By those logic, platform almost always 99.99% fuck sellers first.

I also sell some stuff in shopee. You really need to take many pics before u send. A lot of sohai will pull this kind of stupid stunt. Sometimes those sohai terlepas and i kena fuck over. Just list it and sell at massive discount to recover cost. Or just ship it out and wait seller dispute, if the tak apa kind no dispute then they telan those refunded stock. Most of the time i just give it to my client irl as sample.

not actually. spx run by different entity although also by shopee as the big brand.
if we successfully proved our innocence, shopee will bear all the shipping fee for return both ways.
in that case, most likely shopee will be paying to spx lol. dont forget most of the return they get part timer or freelancer to delivery/pickup for them which will cost them too.

not really. as a 10+years seller in shopee, i know well of their modus operandi.
someone bought my products and claim it was a fake. instead of asking me to show proof, they allow buyer to return first.
when i got the return, i dispute back with proof. u know what shopee did? ask me to resell the item and they will waived all the cost incurred in the transaction lol.
i supposed now is better since no more "change of mind" instead of "return in original condition/sealed pack" but they can make bogus claims easily.
some item with seal one sometimes shopee will ask us to send back to buyer lol but most of the time just ask us to suck it up.

if using shopee voucher, sometimes it is alot cheaper than buying from retail store
