To make correction , china phone doesnt even support esim on china local (only china global unit phone support esim) , and their telcom doesnt offer any e-sim service for your information.

Even the user on china bought the US ver of iphone, they have to send to shop for drill a sim tray hole for physical sim.

What i heard is they baru mou start implement esim because of iphone air series, so by this few week china might only launch esim.

Ask yourself do u need the ultra wide and telezoom ? I know alot of my friend who bought pro max with 3 camera setup but end up using the main camera only.

But if battery was ur main concern, then go for promax

Seriously , the silver look so great on iphone 17 pro

Think the selfie camera with new square sensor was the greatest thing on new iphone , u can take landscape selfie without need to turn your phone in landscape , by adding the square sensor into the dynamic island and that the reason why we dont see the dynamic island reduce in size which i think worth for it. We might see next year android phone will be copying this feature, hopefully they wil 😆

Especially for pro max , holding landscape to take selfie photo is a pain , super heavy, making ur finger super sour 😆

I think the 17 will be sell good , because almost have all the feature pro had with less 1 telephoto lens.

If ultra wide selfie camera , should be huawei the first , but taking landscape photo in portrait mode was the first on iphone.

Yeah super super good value , not to mention wait 11.11 have laz shopee voucher, might hit rm3.5k? Haha

only get to know , the iphone air doesnt have speaker on the bottom , only have 1 speaker. So might be a downside if u care about sound quality.

8gb is far far far far far more enough for iOS seriously especially for non-pro user , dont think non-pro user might see different between 8gb vs 12gb of RAM. Even my shop Old PC stil using 4gb of RAM

yeah , now they need to target new customer with entry level product , just like the new M4 Mac Mini and the Macbook Air M4 , increase storage but reduce price , after Tim Cook take over Apple , damn long time didnt give people a "WORTH" feeling

Dont know next iphone 18 will be using silicone carbon battery? China alot of 6.3" phone already with SiC battery that capacity 5500-6500mAh. If it come true , then it will be good pocket size yet powerful battery life with iOS optimization. Then i wont ever looking for bigger phone to make my hand and finger tired

For sure ip17PM if u have the budget.

Let wait the 17 pro max telezoom quality first only decide , if the telezoom not so impress , u can just use chinese flagship for photo , then get iphone 17 is more than enough. Somehow i feel that really a great combo without break your bank unless u dont mind paying for the 17pm price.


The main reason to go for 17pm is the telezoom camera , because it upgrade from 12mp to 48mp , and the selfie camera have the new sensor , if u really care more about photo/video , then directly go for 17pm , if u dont too care about it , then can go with 16pm , but must get at the best price only worth it for now.


If u don games , the 17pro should can ngam ngam last u a day , or u just need extra 1 charge in the office / car , some people just dont like the size of Pro Max because it's too bulky.

But if u ask me , 17 Pro for Rm5499 is not that worth , because by adding more Rm500 u get big screen , day & night battery life , the pro max battery life just another level compared to pro version. Either go iphone 17 , or directly go for Pro Max.

Reason to go PRO version for sure u will be more heavy user that might need take alot of video/photo for your work right , so battery life should be your main concert , only Pro Max can fit your need.
If u are not so heavy user , the 17 now come with dual 48mp sensor camera , 120hz ProMotion , is more than enough for daily task. Save the money to get more accessory like airpods pro 3 or apple watch better.

I will only go for 17PRO if can get discounted price below Rm5k because it just not worth RM5499

Heard that switch and machine offer RM299 battery replacement for 12 13 14 iphone.

I heard that 11 was on the list too , but it's limited time , u do need follow Switch facebook for the offer , 15 might be next year

No worry , Any iphone can easily use up to 3-5 year , the only thing that cause u problem mostly was the battery health after 3rd year. If money isn't big problem for you , then just go for ip17 PRO , since u already have secondary phone for gaming. If u only have ONE phone then not really recommend especially if u gamer too

I recently saw a user using iphone 16 PRO with iOS26, playing Honor Of King (王者荣耀) , then he try open 120hz with full resolution (normally he just using 60hz) , guess what , 15% battery drop per games , that crazy , my Mediatek 9400+ only drop 3-5% with 120hz full resolution per games , iphone 16 pro max 5-6% per games, So u agak2 can see the different right the battery consumption between pro vs pro max vs android latest flagship.

No body know how good is the 17 pro telezoom , need to wait youtuber to review on it for the accurate answer

Then u really have to look into vivo x100 ultra , vivo x200pro , vivo x200 ultra and the latest Huawei pura 80 ultra , those are concert king NO joke bro their telezoom with 200mp is on another level. Samsung? Can totally ignore it.

Yeah , once your battery health drop below 80% , the phone performance will drop , so by replace new battery, u can get back full performance for your old phone.
