Why Unifi terminated my account without calling for validation? Is there any way to reactivate terminated account?

Requested for termination on 17th Jul 2025 for SWU 5.0 then received sms from Unifi.
RM0 Unifi: Hi Valued Customer. Our agent will contact you shortly to validate your request and given best offer special JUST FOR YOU! T&C apply.

But no call after 2 weeks then I requested for termination again on 5th Aug 2025 then received the same sms again.

I tried live chat a few times to expedite my case and hope that they will call me asap but still nothing from them.

Then until recently 2nd Oct 2025 I tried to live  chat again to check the status of my case. No updates and asked them if Unifi termination can be done in live chat, and cs said NO.

But then the next day 3rd Oct 2025 my account was terminated. Then I quickly live chat cs for confirmation, and yea my account was terminated and cs said terminated account is not allowed to be activated anymore.

Anyone has the same experience or know how to resolve this issue?

It is so bad that I'm considering biting the bullet and terminate my contract with them

You must definitely try termination method.
You are paying RM136.75 for 300Mbps.
If they terminate your account for real, you can get fiber from U mobile at cheaper price.
You can also call up your mobile telco and see if they have any bundle pricing for your current plan.

You keep contacting them so many times to terminate. Then when terminate you bising.

Will try mcmc with the reason Unifi didn’t call for validation.
Definitely will try others if cannot get back my account.

Day 30 after submitting termination request, submitted feedback form 8 days ago and still no calls from Unifi for offer/termination. Live chatted just now, need wait tomorrow for updates. Looks like either the termination team handling the requests is overwhelmed or they have no intention to retain me.

I don't mind if they just terminate, means U Mobile can earn my money for the next 2 years.
Also their horrible speed every night to international sites made me wanna jump ship.

But walk in they will tell you SWU 5.0 no longer available etc

Hi all, may i ask how long they take to switch the plan for SWU 500mb after the telemarketer called.
Mine has been 2 weeks but still no SMS from TM, already live chat twice but keep saying will update in few days.

Just to update my swu 5 journey
Request to terminate on last friday. Received call yesterday.
officer is 500mbps rm 90 just like everyone get. But i request got 100mbps since only parent live. Got rm 79,free 6 month and hotstar 1 year

Gonna love the fact that most people doesnt care or blame it on their own hardware
I would not even bother with getting the SWU plan if this is how the particular ISP is treating its customers
RM90, RM149 still having the same horrible routing issue that wont be fixed
Being cheap is not about the price, it is the attitude
