my new rm90 500mbps cant get up to speed...last time confirm can get up to speed .now only 300mbps jer.  hardly get 500mbps...no change anything from their side.anyone same issue?

If tm unifi fiber come to change the router, which router is the best? Does tm unifi fiber offer diffrent router or could we request different router from tm unifi fiber? Is skyworth a good router?

Thing is, TM has planned to upgrade to 10G/XGSPON.
TM following other ISP, roll out 2Gbps plan on GPON, once enough subscribers, OLT PON Card will upgraded.

My team in Italy did this during PON Stick research, many people subscribed 2Gbps, within a year 2Gbps subscriber has reached and their ISP start upgrading and now using XGSPON.

GPON never designed to support over 1Gbps, ME 5 and 6 specifically query ONT ANI just 2488/1244 and UNI just 1GbE

However, updated GPON Standard as per CTC request, the ANI now supporting 2488/2488 symmetrical and UNI supporting 2.5GbE, this to assist ISP capital moving next PON Standard.



Only problem in Malaysia is, TM employees told me the 2Gbps customer are in declining, shrinking... Even Government tried to support TM by giving school 2Gbps Unifi, still not enough...

Hello. My 300Mbps - Pro Upgrade  (RM 129) contract has ended and I received a phone call from TM earlier. She's offering me Unifi 500Mbps – RM159/Month for 24 months with free RG6 router.

What's the best option for me to take? 500Mbps is nice but will I be able to get that speed + lower price with SWU package?

That one is his special privilege. He had TM tag VLAN400 for him. So I think he just tag it over his own OLT.

initially suspect fiber problem, field technician tested the fiber have abnormal reading. after he re-seat the cable then signal reading normalized. but after we tested with new router & modem but still 7-800Kbps dl speed.

the thing is the installation was working fine for quite a long time, at least a year. issue happened after the connection went down then came back in around 5min.

damn yesterday my home and office modem port kena banned by tm around 10pm. technician come and troubleshoot try change port at FDP and try different modem PON light blinking.

Submit termination 1 week ago and received call today, just tell her my friend having better promotion compare to me(As royal customer > 10 yrs). And she offer RM90 500mbps+disney 1yr free or RM79 100mbps+6 months free+disney 1yr free. Straightly take the RM79 offer.
