The higher the floor , the noiser it gets if it is beside a high way.
lol did u just pull this logic out of ur ass. common sense la, the closest to the noise source is the loudest. the stated highway is as high at 40 floor? rolleyes.gif

I would go for as high a floor as one can afford. Easier to resell later on also.

ppl here trying to justify lower and mid floor coz extra few k added for each higher floor for loan. market already dictated the higher the better. Get the one you can afford as simple as that.

I would go for the lower floor.
Used to stay in condo 32 floor.
No electricity one time, u gotta walk the stairs
False fire alarm also need to walk the stairs.
Now I prefer lower floor.
Near to amenities and also cheaper

Haha true .. cost is also a concern. A difference of 150k between the lowest and highest. Starting price about 570k .. to 730k

But living lower floor do you experience pest issue? I'm currently staying at 8th floor. Hate when I have visitors coming from time to time, especially when they fumigate .. my house will turn into a graveyard for those visitors.

I never had issue when I was living at 14th floor but a little bit noisy.

Yeah cost is also an issue. Mine is about 3 to 7k per floor.

Unfortunately, I'm on public housing, hence no renting out. It's for long term stay until I downgrade when I'm old. Lol

get the highest u can afford. affordability first, then preference. i have a high unit facing expressway where ppl usually avoid. I m very satisfy because i have beautiful view every night. laugh.gif I survey the other unit facing other direction, they have zero view but owner probably dont care about view. to me, everything matters. Make a checklist priority, tick according to ur preference.

Noisy but can handle. close window, down the curtain, open ac. Lazy do soundproofing, u can do if u want. We can always fix the noise but we cannot fix the view. Thats my opinion la. Sunday night relax at home, u open curtain want to get fresh air, u choose to see open air view or blocked view by condos or not so pleasant view. Up to u la lol.

some ppl are busy, having kids left and right, probably dont have time to enjoy. i guess la. Always survey for the best bang for your buck. icon_rolleyes.gif

6 lifts, 9 units per floor.
*
Considered low density with ample amount of lifts.

I'd choose mid to high floor for the fresh air alone. I've looked at 4th floor when looking for a rental but it was very noisy and stuffy.

Lived at 18th, 24th floor before and exhaust noise from kapcais are annoying.

I stay level 4, no pest issue as i took pest control package, they come every 2 months to spray my house perimeter.

I see people higher floor than me complain about ants and other pest.

Squeeze with everyone. Go past 10 door openings. Last to leave the lift.

Agree, however, I'll have to see what's available by then. It is queue based. Likely the top levels will be taken. Would be left wit top mid to mid. Likely not low level coz likely to be noisy as there would be a sch next to my block.

Ah ok thanks. I used to live at 14 where I had a lot of ants crawling around. But not too much on cockroaches, which I'm experiencing right now

As long it's next to highway, you can't escape from noise and dust. Only way to deal with it is soundproof windows. Keep all windows and balcony doors closed to prevent black tire/road dust.

Haha yes, but I would like to see a general consensus on selecting a floor. Their respective pro and cons.

The monthly fumigation and children playground are the ones that annoys me at time. Jus when fumigation date u go out lo .. but the children noise and ppl playing in the pool unavoidable...

Air is fresger in upper floors but in case of blackout, be prepared to climb down 40 floors

B40 will have to walk down

T20 will have backup generator to power the lifts

i live on 26th floor in my condo, so far the ones in my owners group biggest complaint are from lower levels regarding noise, insects, view etc. my perks are views are better, and im more insulated from the usual rempit motor sounds. plus being higher my water pressure stronker. bad news is i once had elevator prob and i had to walk all the way down...

but they are also much happier being at lower floor since nearer to car park and less waiting around/inside elevators unlike me which needs a solid 5min to walk from my unit to car
